I had a dream in which I was in a really old, rundown house, that is full of clutter and mess. In this house there is this man who is always working (as in working from home). And I know he's a ghost, and he know's he's a ghost.
In the beginning of the dream I'm angry with him, and he seems mildly annoyed by me. I went on a walk outside the house and was shooting the house with a crossbow, and then saw him sitting at a desk through the window, and shot him in the arm. He then pulled the arrow out of his arm and gave me a look like "what was that for? You knew it wouldn't hurt me" and I went back inside.
To make a long story short, we fell in love, and I began cleaning the old house while he worked (I should mention that I'm homopsexual, so it's not odd for me to fall in love with a man in my dreams).
Anyway, throughout the whole dream, though it spanned several days, it was constantly nighttime. At the end of the dream, just as I was waking up the sun started to rise.
What's it mean?

The house represents yourself. It is rundown and cluttered becasue it is a place in your psyche that is hidden, and one that you may consider dirty. It is old because this is an old part of yourself. The ghost is yourself as well, as al things in a dream are. He is working from home because he is successful at not existing in the world. Just as he is a phantom, he is in another realm one that is hidden from the outside world. You are angry at him because, you are angry with your fear of the outside. He is annoyed because he (and you) are comfortable with the way that that part of yourself handles the outside. Your anger at him extends to the house because the house is the same symbol. You walk outside to escape from that hidden "mindset" and express your anger by shooting an arrow. Which can be a symbol of your sexuality. In a way, you are punishing this "hidden" or "negative" part of yourself with your sexuality. You try to hurt yourself(the ghost) with your sexuality, but he knows that is not a negative thing, so he pulls out the arrow. The statement that you made "what was that for? You knew it would'nt hurt me?" was very on point, because your "self" knows that your sexuality, or sex is not a weapon. You and the ghost fall in love (union), and in essence become one, which shows that you wish to reconcile this part of your self and embrace it, instead of trying to lash out with your sexuality which consider to be a negative. You began to clean the house, to clear out the "junk" that is not needed inside of that part of your mind, or your "self". The sense that it was many days emphasizes the hard work that you and the ghost were doing, you cleaned the house, and he continued to function even though the house was changing. Awaking in the dream represents that you succeeded in your task, the night is like the house in that it hides those within it, as does sleep. You exposed a part of yourself to the outside that you normally wouldnt because you cleaned out the clutter, and embraced the "ghost-self", sucessfully. I should also mention that the ghost is also important because a ghost does not live, or exist in the world. This is a feeling of seperation, and the arrow may be better be described as a symbol of the act of having sex, which subconsciously you feel is a negative event. When you fell in love, you may be trying to embrace/overcome the idea of connecting sex with love and with your own sexuality. A ghost cannot be hurt but it also cannot be healed. And you know that trying to use sex as a weapon against yourself is as futile as using a real weapon against a non-existing spirit.

I would say that the old, messy, rundown house symbolizes how you feel about your life - that maybe you don't feel that your home life is too good. The ghost who is working from home (that home) could symbolize someone who you want to meet and hook up with for a long term relationship, and the ghost part of him may symbolize that you havent met him yet. The night time may symbolize 'darkness', or 'depression' from your current situation. You say the sun begins to rise as you awoke, meaning you will find happiness if you meet this man and you guys make a home life together, or he becomes a stable part of your life.

Rundown old house, full of clutter and mess = self esteem, respect conscience
Man in the house = Identity conflict, mirror self
Since you say you are a homosexual, this dream is more than sexuality. It is about self identity. You project a so called "ghost" in your dream. That actually symbolizes your conflict conscience. You are seeking for some sort of self respect. Yes, being angry at him at first does not seem to make sense. However, in your case, you are looking for respect and recognition. To project a Man in your dream which in your sexual orientation, that is what you prefer. That also shows you that you are actually in low esteem. (messy old house)
You constantly have this recurring dream because there may be some issues among your friends. Perhaps, there are some disapproval in your social life. Perhaps, you want to be recognized in some aspects. Falling in love with ghosts in your case actually means searching for true identity, true self and self esteem

dreams are your subconcious trying to sort things out. Throughout your life, you create your own "symbols" for things. For example, to you, an apple may represent sweetness, or childhood. To someone else, it may represent sin. Everyones is different. Therefore, someone cant look at your dream and say "a cluttered house means anxiety in your life". The things you should concentrate on are your feelings towards the things in your dream, and think about them. Eventually, if you think about them long enough, it will "click" with you what that dream meant to you, and what it was representing. Youre the only person who can interpret your dream because youre the only one who experienced it. keep thinking about it and reliving it, and maybe you will come to a realization about an important aspect in your life. Since it was something your subconcious mind created, you already know what it means. You just have to access it, and you can do that by listening to yourself.

objectives are in specific circumstances given by the Lord to coach the place you decide on progression in existence. the translation of such objectives is authentic, yet provided that the interpreter has coaching from the Lord. different dream interpreters that have a large variety of journey can come close, yet whilst there is direct coaching from the Lord concerning those objectives that are consistant with a dream it particularly is given by him, then the translation will hit a delicate spot on the guy's soul. the translation would be suited. Many won't consider me, and that i in no way answer questions with reference to objectives that are merely the techniques replaying the day. I additionally do no longer have confidence that any interpretation I provide is mine, yet belongs to Christ. There are circumstances in the Bible of two dream interpreters, Joseph and Daniel. i won't say that all and sundry objectives have which potential. some are, as you assert, random techniques occuring as you sleep. do you ought to have one with deeper which potential, don't be afraid to voice it. you will understand the authentic interpretation once you notice it.

You have lots of good feedback. I would add this tidbit from dream expert Jeremy Taylor-- which is that sometimes (not always, but sometimes), the house represents the body.
Only you can know for sure what your dream means...Good luck...
