Never give up that's what I say. Don't be so hard on yourself. Just focus on task you can do and try to build up your confidence. Also next time I would suggest changing your title. I thought it sounded really bad and was afraid to look....

You need to stop second guessing yourself. It's because you "know" you suck, you suck. If you think for once that maybe you can do it and do it right, then maybe you won't screw up as much. It's all a state of mind. And also practice. You can't expect to be great at everything. If your labmates give you crap about it, then tell them to go to hell because you did your best. That's really all you can hope for anyway. If no one tried, we wouldn't get very far.

THOSE WHO CAN'T LEAD FALLOW AND IT IS GOOD FOR U TO LET IT GO, THERE IS TIMES WHEN LEARNING AND DOING IS NOT AS IMPORTANT AS KNOWING WHICH YOU HAVE LEARNED AND WHAT U STILL NEED, DON'T BE THERE TO CAUSE YOUR OWN PROBLEMS, SET YOUR SELF IN A WAY THAT IS CONFIDENCE TO U AND THE PROBLEMS WILL NOT MANIFEST IF YOU DON'T OBSESS IN THEM JUST LET SOME ONE ELSE BE THE SEVENTH WONDER OF THE WORLD AND MOVE ON

Practice, practice, practice.
I was just like you are, high IQ, no physical dexterity until I joined the Marines.
Major skill level enhancement, major self esteem boost, and I didn't die in Viet Nam!

Win/Win for me.
