Yes, but I don't think anyone should. Having a right doesn't mean you should exercise it. I have the right to buy lots of stuff with my money, but I'd rather save and invest - my rights don't translate automatically to the best action. I believe every person would choose not to kill themselves if they received in-depth psychological counseling.

i do not believe that anyone has a right to hurt anyone else by being a selfish asshole. thats what you are when you take your own life. its a chicken **** way to solve problems. not to mention that its a perminte solution to a temp. problem. and all problems are temp. thing about how devistated the people that you leave behind to suffer with asking the age old question "WHY" there is nothing that bad in this life that its worth your life. its just a matter of standing up tall and facing your true issuses. what ever they might be.

Yes.

But I also think that the only source of hope you have in life is yourself, and without you there is no hope.

Suicide is a deadly symptom of a more serious problem, or trauma that has happened in the person's life. Not everyone is willing to accept help until its too late. This is why suicide is illegal in most states and you get institutionalized involuntarily for attempting suicide.

Well, i agree, who really does get to decide what's right and wrong?
Many believe that suicide is one of the greatest sins, because you are killing without repentence.

However I would just like to throw my thought in on that...

In the last milliseconds of that persons' life, thinking 'what have i done'
What do you think is faster?
The grace of God, or a bullet?

Just something to chew on I suppose.

Of course people should have a right to suicide but also to think the matter through first, there is no way back.

No. Very seldom are these decisions made rationally. It also goes against our instinctive need to survive and our desire to protect those within our social groups. Virtually everything in benevolent faith and scientific nature tells us to live. So, Live.
