In my position, i am constently working with upper management, and they view me highly because i am a great help and the regular employees view me as a brown noser. I guess you can say don't worry about it, but don't really like that type of feeling that i am that type of person. Anyway to be balanced?

I tend to be very professional and have a on-the-job mentality. Pretty much all business. As people always are messing around at work and gossip. I tend to stay away from it. Persectively, I think i am viewed as shrewd and unfriendly. Any way i can change this persona and still remain professional? Outside of work, i am completely different, very friendly and outspoken.

Have you ever met a person. woman or a man...
And within minutes, felt as if, you opened up a can..
Of emotion filled with pain and sadness,
Due to abuse, neglect, addiction?
I have, and I must say, I suffer from affliction,
Of feeling bad for the broken hearted,
Compassion for the broken spirit,
I feel compelled to help the needy,
What's your story, let me hear it!
Do you let addiction rule your life?
As your family looks past...
Are you losing everything important?
Is it happening very fast?
Is drinking causing arguments..and the misses runs away?
How bout staying sober, and loving HER today!
Do your children hear you fighting..
And turn up the t.v.?
Love can overcome all obstacles...
It seems that way to me.
If you are told that years of marriage,
Are withering like a rose...
Over a habit you need to lose.
Would you lose it or grab your clothes?

I just had a gereral psych test on freud, piagte, maslow ect...I know in one of freuds theroys, he says that what happens in our early childhood, effects our personalities, especially unresolved childhood sexual issues. But what I want to know is, what other sexual issues, BESIDES molestation/incest, would a child even have, nevertheless need reslovement?

In my whole life I've never had a single nightmare. I was wondering if this meant anything, or if there is anyone else who doesn't have nightmares? I've always had a dreamcatcher in my bedroom- I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

I work at a local Movie Theatre and I am 17 years old. I work with several males whom I also go to school with. We are always joking around having a good time, but a lot of times they will constantly tease me. I am known as the good, Christian girl that doesn't drink/smoke etc. Well, anyways they are always teasing me, coming up and grabbing my sides or poking my sides/back, grabbing my shoulders, sexual innuendos etc. I know they are guys and it is almost expected by why are they constantly teasing me? It's always when they are together too, because when it is just us they joke around with me but not as much. One of the guys told another guy at work that he thought I was "hot and beautiful" which of course I don't believe, yet he goes out with another girl who is willing to go further than I, but they aren't together anymore. The guy that said this also comes up and hugs me at work. Is this behavior inappropriate at work and how should I take this teasing?

I know in all context that it depends on ones own perspective of what is interesting in a conversation, but its hard to find someone to have an intelligent conversation with. It's just a bunch of generic talk with it ending up saying something cliche'. The younger the generation the worse it is too. At work it's mainly gossip about who's dating who and if someone liked a movie the other night cannot even explain the simple synopsis.

This guy I go to school with has some serious mental health problems. The thing is I just can't put my finger on what it may be. I've gone through a list of mental disorders I've been educated about, but I'm stumped.

It all started his first day of class. He started to spread rumors about numerous people. When you go up to him to ask what's wrong/ his problem, he acts as if he doesn't remember doing/saying anything! A couple days later my boyfriend bumped into him by accident the guy snapped. He said "Bump me again I'll sue you...take your car, but I'll let you drive it sometime." WTF? I asked him what his problem was, and his response was "Huh...What did I say?" What's wrong with this kid?

I'm going through a depression stage right now in my life. I used to do so much extracurricular activites and I've quit all of them. My last bet was piano and my parents just cancelled it because they feel like I have no interest. Whenever people ask me if I'm still doing these activities, I always have to say "no". I feel like a complete failure with no guide or special interests. I don't know whats wrong with me and it upsets me that I feel like I have nothing. Can somebody help me understand why I'm feeling this way? What am I doing wrong?

How do you know if you've crossed the above line? What exactly considers you a nymphomaniac? I know the dictionary explanation but is there really such a problem as nymphomania? There is so much more for me to explain but some answers that will be given are bound to be rude and pointless. I'll wait for the right person to answer this question to explain further.

Have you ever noticed that? I remember doing it as a child and now that I think about it, it doesn't make any sense. Are children taught to do this or do they see it on tv or is it just something that has to do with child development?
