The point of life is simply to live through it and take in as much as you can before you die. So I don't know :-p

The point of life is to live forever happily under God's arrangment. Because Adam and Eve sinned against God in the Garden of Eden we the decendants are living in a world that is so screwd up that at times it may seem like life is pointless. We have hope though, because of Jesus's death we are able to get a second chance to live the life that was intended for Adam and Eve. God created life, and he wants us to be happy and enjoy it under his rulership, to produce offspring and teach them the will of God as well just as was intended for Adam and Eve. If we do so the end result is wonderful. We will live in a paridise earth with homes and work for everyone (Isaiah 65:21,22) Plenty food for all (Psalms 67:6 and 72:16) Global peace even for animals (Isaiah 11:6) The elimination of war( Isaiah 2:4 and 9:7) Dead loved ones resurrected (John 5:28,29) And no more sickness and death (Isaiah 33:24 and Revelation 21:3,4) God promises us all these thing if we obey him. This is true because God can not lie ( Titus 1:2 and John 10:27,28) and that is the piont of life. wouldn't you love to live in world such as that under Gods arrangement?

Probably no point. It just is. We humans attach all sorts of meanings to life. The truth is that none of us have any real idea of what we are doing here. I just try to do the best with what I've got, don't always succeed, but keep trying. I suppose that the best any of us can do is to not cause ourselves or others harm. Maybe just like for animals and microrganisms, the point is to survive. Some have to kill to survive; the flip side is that I and some others try to help and support others to live.

It is to create. You basically are living so you can produce a generation that is better and more capable to live (and to do just the same thing you are here for). The point of life is survival, why why would you want to? -Beats me.

Life also has spiritual meaning. You live to find out who you really are, then die. So I don't really know. I don't think anybody does. Everyone has their own reasons to live. Some to find some kind of happiness or fortune, some are living because they are depended upon by others, and others live to kill others.

There's no point to life unless you wanted there to be one.

In each lifetime, we work toward perfecting the soul. We write our own charts on what we need to learn and experience in each lifetime so we can eventually go back to home, or heaven as many call it, and enjoy God, and all of our loved ones that has passed. Being on earth, is like a test, to see how we solve our problems that are given us, and and all the challenges that face us. We become wiser, and more compassionate with the more we learn, so we can help others as well.

The point of life..is the direction you allow it to go. If you make a few minor mistakes..it can point you in a negative direction. If you do your best to re-direct your life in a positive fashion..the possibilities are endless. Don't let it beat you. NO MATTER WHAT.

That's some thing you have to answer for yourself. I know one day i will die ... we all will and we don't know what is in the after life YES even those with religions that they cant see past don't really know. BUT We only have one life and if this really is all we've got, why would anyone want to waist that? I know I don't and that's why I live my life doing things I like doing, that's all we can do so we know when we look back if we are lucky to make a old age we can say .. yea I lived life to the fullest. Good Luck !!

To die. To return to whatever existed before life, an organic state of inanimacy.

Read about Sigmund Freud's death drive. You can find it in his essay 'Beyond the Pleasure Principle'. It's hard to accept, cos death is so scary, but my my, does it make all kinds of sense!

In strictly biological terms -- to reproduce and pass on your genes so the species will continue.

Otherwise, the rest is up to you...whatever you make of your own life, that's what your point is.
For me? To learn as much as I can and enjoy this short life as much as possible before it's over. I've already passed on my genes (twice!) :)
