In my whole life I've never had a single nightmare. I was wondering if this meant anything, or if there is anyone else who doesn't have nightmares? I've always had a dreamcatcher in my bedroom- I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

I do remember almost all my dreams, but they're all good dreams. I would define a nightmare as a dream which terrifies you. There isn't much in real life that scares me- needles, and that's about it- so that could be a possible cause.

Personally, I don't think it has anything to do with the dream catcher, since I know people who have dream catchers and still have nightmares. It's normal, I think, not to have nightmares (I personally have had them though). Pyschologically speaking, dreams and nightmares are just the unconscious part of your brain trying to sort and make sense of images/thought and whatnot, so maybe yours come in forms of more pleasant things, while others may come in forms of more scarier things. You are just one of the lucky ones that don't have nightmares.

I haven't had one in the past 10 years and only 2 or 3 in my entire life. I don't have any dreamcatcher.

i used to have a dream catcher. it was hanging for maybe 10 days. when i hung it, the fist night i started having nightmares and more every night. i finally caught on that it was the dream catcher that was giving me nightmares. so i took it down and threw it away. i've had some nightmares since then, but it wasn't everynight. maybe that dream catcher was a good dream catcher. i don't know. maybe it was just a coincidence.

I don't think I've had a nightmare as an adult. I did when I was a child, though. I've had negative dreams but even those were enjoyable to me, which I guess is odd. Not sure why.

What really does a nightmare consist of? i mean i have had bad dreams where i see a plane crashing...ive had that one over & over & over. or where im being chased, but i would just call those bad dreams. or are they nightmares? if not then no, ive never had one, that i can recall anyways.

Nightmares are fun and interesting. They're uncomfotable when I'm actualy dreaming them but when I awake and days past theyre fun to think of.

It doesn't mean you didn't have nightmares it means that you don't remember them. Sometimes your brain doesn't remember what your dreaming about.
