I work at a local Movie Theatre and I am 17 years old. I work with several males whom I also go to school with. We are always joking around having a good time, but a lot of times they will constantly tease me. I am known as the good, Christian girl that doesn't drink/smoke etc. Well, anyways they are always teasing me, coming up and grabbing my sides or poking my sides/back, grabbing my shoulders, sexual innuendos etc. I know they are guys and it is almost expected by why are they constantly teasing me? It's always when they are together too, because when it is just us they joke around with me but not as much. One of the guys told another guy at work that he thought I was "hot and beautiful" which of course I don't believe, yet he goes out with another girl who is willing to go further than I, but they aren't together anymore. The guy that said this also comes up and hugs me at work. Is this behavior inappropriate at work and how should I take this teasing?

First of all, it is not almost expected that guys act like fools. It is unacceptable behavior and you should feel free to talk to a manager about their behavior.
Secondly, they are teasing you because they all think you are pretty and any one of them is hoping that you will go out with him. They also are showing off to you and each other. The only way that they can freely touch you is if they are in a group, because alone it looks too forward.
They are also teasing you because you are the good girl and they are hoping to get you to do something bad. That way they can say that you will do something bad and then maybe one of them can get you to go out with him and go further than you currently want to.
No matter what, they do not have any right to touch you at work or otherwise. You definitely should speak to a manager.

You need to report this activity to your manager. This is sexual harassment and has broad implications in lawsuits, You don't need to put up with this dorky behavior from anyone. Touching is never right unless one invites it and the behavior is never correct at work. You are there to do a job...not to give some scumbag boys an opportunity to practice being trashy in front of their homeboys.
Remember this: God gave you two knees and boys one scrotum. A well placed knee in the 'nads will stop even the most agressive horndog.

In a perfect world being sweet and nice to someone because you like them (especially for guys) would be great. The problem is that most girls are more attracted to jerks because we think we can change them. If you look really closely you'll notice that all the "jerks" get more girls than the nice guys. Especially during teen years before the girls grow up enough to realize that it's just not right...and sometimes they never do realize it.

First of all, this sound like pretty blatant sexual harassment that you don't have to accept. If they can't keep their hands off you, they shouldn't be working there. Tell your boss.
As for why these obviously immature boys do what they do, I'd say that you, "good, Christian girl", represent the forbidden fruit to them. You probably are "hot and beautiful", and they would like to corrupt you. But since they can't, they settle for tasteless comments and unwarranted touching. As you get older, you'll probably find more mature guys that you;d like more.

These guys are full of hormones and you should realize how to control them. You have to break out of you "good girl" bubble and see how scrupulous women manipulate men and get what they want. Careful, some men will still try physical force when you do this.

Because they are not mature enough to be a guy. And yes this including sex. harrasment, you can say to them in person that their act bother you when they do that again. If they not stop it to do that you can report to the manager. Honey, there are lot of nicer guys than them, believe me.

High School guys are dumb. Remember that women mature most faster than males. Just ignore them. You not talking to them will probally make them feel worse than they make you feel. Tell them to go to hell and if they sexually harass you report it to your manager.

they like u,but they get sucked into the wrong type of grls.
It's just faze.
Also,if they keep on doing stuff like that sexual stuff and it gets worse or u ask them 2 stop and they tell you're manager or you're parent,or just quit but i don't recommend that.

They're immature pre-pubescent boys. They're probably just trying to show off to the other guys. OR they like you.
