This guy I go to school with has some serious mental health problems. The thing is I just can't put my finger on what it may be. I've gone through a list of mental disorders I've been educated about, but I'm stumped.

It all started his first day of class. He started to spread rumors about numerous people. When you go up to him to ask what's wrong/ his problem, he acts as if he doesn't remember doing/saying anything! A couple days later my boyfriend bumped into him by accident the guy snapped. He said "Bump me again I'll sue you...take your car, but I'll let you drive it sometime." WTF? I asked him what his problem was, and his response was "Huh...What did I say?" What's wrong with this kid?

No. The guy is being serious. He really doesn't know what he's saying. He gets a blank look in his eyes. I also thought he was bi-polar but it seems to be a combination of things. He also scratches himself sometimes until he bleeds when he's frustrated.

It seems to me that this boy is being just a stupid idiotic little boy, one who thinks he is clever, but isn't, just ignore him, he will get really pigged off if you don't respond to his idiotic actions, he really is a moron.

Well for starters, quit asking the kid what his problem is. That's not helping him and it's also rude. Obviously he has some sort of mental health issues, but it's not something that any amateur can diagnose. It could be a form of autism, or any number of other mental health diseases (or a combination of such). Just try to be friendly with him when you see him, and ignore the rumors. If his actions start causing major problems for you and other students (physical or emotional) then discuss it with your school counselor or principal.

The scratching til it bleeds caught my attention to the best example of a compulsive disorder. Don't interact with him anymore than necessary but be really nice when unavoidable, he may feel compeled to repay the favor.

It actually sounds like multiple personality disorder to me. I'm not a psychologist, so I can't say for sure, but acting completely out of character and then not remembering it is a classic sign of MPD. It's something he needs to deal with himself, hopefully by seeing a doctor- I'd stay out of it if I were you.

unlike half these other people who are calling this kid a retard , its probably a serious problem. I would just go on and talk to him like hes normal, just be thankful you dont have this disorder. if u had it, would u want people comin up to u all the time askin what ur problem is? be nice

What a whack! He's probably just looking for attention and he is definitely very immature. Maybe you should report him to the school nurse or counselor. They will do this annonymously...Maybe there is really something wrong with him. Good luck!
