I've seen many complaints from the answering community in this section about male coworkers/superiors making passes at them, and then trying to punish them when they inevitably get told off.

The question remains, why are those that take advantage of this situation to better themselves frowned down upon? Is it not empowering to use someone else for your own gains rather than being used for anothers?

God help us if that is true.

America better look behind that phony smile she is wearing and phony fur-sod she is putting on which, will all be gone if she wins the election.

There are to many freedoms at stake that she has her sights set on.

It can't be everything nor can it be nothing! It can't be physical. I know some of you are going to say it depends on the individual, but I'm talking in general here.

I've found here in the Women's Studies section, numerous malignant replies from men have surfaced. I've read replies, on questions that specifically ask only for another female's advice, from men, that I find to be sexist in nature. Degrading the female body and mind in a "nicely put" manner has gone unnoticed, and apparently does not call to be flagged.
I am a feminist, and I am a lesbian, but I have nothing against men. Their input is often helpful in this category. But we are sensitive beings, and at times, some opinions may be a little too harsh for us.
Do any women agree?

Too often there is little in the way of ‘productive debate’ on this forum: is this because many Americans have no critical thinking skills (educational factors), or because Americans are more inclined than other cultures to accept smear campaigns as legitimate forms of ‘debate’ (as exemplified in 30 second political attack ads aired on TV)? Poor education or warped cultural values?

A new low: IMAGINARY "DEBATES"

They have no sense of community and people don't forge friendships face to face.. In fact nobody talks face to face - they all talk on phone. America have no common regular people because everybody think they are superior to each other.. They all commute in glass bubble on wheels, so nobody ever get to rub shoulders and interact with each other. if you see pretty woman in car - that is all you can do, see and look. Can't talk becasue she in glass bubble and speed away fast. They have some city in America with no sidewalk.. Cannnot walk, must have car - then become fat and overweight... America ugly place and so isn't the people.. Oh, and the drugs - drugs all over!

I would think an Entrepreneural opportunity has come about to adapt the women's Hijab for all sports not just soccer ? Imagine a pretty but modified safe Hijab for ballet or figure skating and the financial opportunity this would bring for muslim women.

Limiting the purpose of the Hijab becomes an infringement to childrens' liberties and freedom because not all kids want to settle for the inexpensive sport of soccer, some wish to do so much more...

I think the Hijab s pretty lets make it work for all sports.

My guess is it is because there is a need to consolidate and project power. This reminds me of the Black / Afro-American (we want it all but please don't send us back to africa studies) Green revolution that is now happening(the I hate people, lets stop every thing people do party) or the grow your hair long and smoke a reefer studies of the late 70's(damn those French hippys !)... any group that desires power and control has a "studies" at college/university. I think I'll start the white (excuse me...european American) disaffected sarcastic poor males studies...

Whenever I go to any sporting event, to an amusement park, or to see a play (theater),

Just last week I saw a play, and during the intermission, the men's line was somewhat long, but only a few people outside of the door. Plus it moved quickly, and I was able to use the restroom quickly. The women's line was extremely long, wrapped all around the building, and the women were looking at us pissed with jealousy and envy because even the last guy in line was out before women that were even already inside the bathroom.

I also see this when I go to NBA games -- during the halftime the women's line wraps around the building while the men's line is short and fast moving. Same with amusement parks. We use the restroom, wash our hands, face, dry -- and leave. Simple.

So the question is, what exactly are women doing in the restroom that takes them so long? There are people waiting behind you and it would make sense to be considerate of the other women.

He we have yet another case of a woman slaughtered by her crazy husband. Don't tell me she didn't see any signs. And I don't buy it that they are too scared or no place to go. Not buying that at all.

I'm thinking of the women of the 1800's versus today. Try to find a modern woman that can cook from scratch, sew, knit a pair of sox, has beautiful handwriting, doesn't swear, spit, and smoke...

I believe that a human that has already been brought into this world and have been socialized is more important than an embryo still developing in the womb.

Would people rather the baby be born and BOTH the mother and child suffer? Why are we taking away the woman's right to decide what to do with her body and her life and give that right to the unborn baby. Or in the case of adoption: everyone says unborn babies feel pain when they get aborted, what about the physical and emotional pain the mother feels when she has to go through 9 months and childbirth and watch her baby get taken away?

Women should be allowed to have the choice to abort their babies before it reaches a certain stage. It is the lesser of two evils.

Like in middle-eastern countries, they can only show their eyes, the rest are covered by black cloth. When they are raped, they get blamed for seducing the men. Some need 6 witnesses around(or around that number) to prove that she was raped.

Do you think they object to such laws in their society, or they accept it as what it is? Will such a society ever progress?
