I have sometimes pondered taking a "Women's Studies" course at my school.

Some men tell me that it's great because like 99% of the classroom is female. Many times you'll be the only male in there. It will attract a lot of attention towards you from the ladies, mainly in the positive sense. They told me the female classmates will find it admirable that a man is taking a women's studies class.

I don't know. I think I'll just feel odd and stick out too easily.

Ladies, have you ever seen a man in a Women's Studies class? Gentlemen, have you ever taken a Women's Studies class?

Share your experiences.

I notice a lot of woman stair at me in public and just wondering what they are looking at and what they are thinking. No, I am nothing special but very confident and in good shape. I also always smile at women which gets many mixed reactions.

Commercials show a women and her child like husband (vonage) or men behaving like idiots (BK- I am man commercial) constantly on Tv. Why do they insist on portraying our significant others (boyfriend, husband) as a grown up child? It's annoying!

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Authorities Friday were looking for the mother of a baby girl whose remains were found in a two gallon pickle jar buried near a highway.

A construction crew discovered the jar Monday while working on State Road 80, according to a statement from the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

The baby's umbilical cord was still attached, and the medical examiner's office thinks the jar was buried within the last year after an autopsy.

The medical examiner's office was running tests to figure out how and when the girl died, according to the sheriff's office.

It seems to me that using equivalent captures many of the ideals of feminism but does not deny that men and women have biological differences and are not equal to each other.

If you dont believe that women led buisnesses are more likely to fail or feel the need to provide proof for the opposite, please do not pollute my question.
Answer only if you agree that women led buisnesses are more likely to fail. Iam looking for other peoples opinions on why they think that women led buisnesses are more likely to fail. If you feel the urge to debate if women led buisnesses are more likely to fail please surpress it untill you found a forum that is more suited for debate rather than Q&A.

A few things I've noticed:

75% of all violent crimes are commited against men, and yet violence against women is vilified as if it is worse than any other kind of violence. (and in New Zealand, given a tougher sentence than general assault)

A women will get roughly half the prison time as a male commiting the same crime.

Women win most domestic violence cases, yet women perpetrate more domestic violence than men.

Women get automatic custody in divorce cases. Yet 70% of child abuse is perpetrated by women.

A man can be arrested for spousal abuse even if he called the police about his partner.

Does this abhor anyone else as much as it does me??

Lucretia Mott, an active Quaker minister during the antislavery movement who fought for the equal rights of African-Americans and women was a Hicksite Quaker. This meant she considered slavery to be immoral and believed it should be abolished. These beliefs, along with the death of one of her children, led her to speak at multiple Quaker meetings which helped her cope with her son’s death and spread her beliefs to other Quakers. Her persuasive speeches allowed her to be recognized by others, including Elizabeth Stanton and Susan B, Anthony, who convinced her to speak at and organize numerous anti-slavery and women’s rights conventions.

That lesbian feminist (it's true) reports me for saying the same thing goes for both men and women?

Ok who else reported me?

i'm completely disagree with the above questions but i coudn't understand that why people in RURAL AREAS think that?

Why some girls don't get education? Why?
They have a right to be educated!

How can we stop this? How can we realize those who treats girl-child like this, that what they do is wrong? How can we make them realize girl child's value?

How? Any answer or suggestion?

For example: This one guy said to a woman the other day that all women are suppose to cook/clean for men. This same woman believes that all men are incredibly stupid due to ego. Some men believe that women are inferior while some women believe that men are inferior.

When I was growing up, I never believed one sex was more superior than the other. It made no sense to me. When I became an adult & found out that so many men look down on women, I thought I was living in crazy land. It just made no sense to me how anyone could make that assmuption. So I defended women. What really got to me however, was when I ran into women who were sexist towards me just for being a man. Thats when I realized that many people from both sexes discriminate against each other, & then the world seemed like one huge loony bin. Thats when I started defending not just women, but anyone who's discriminated against.

What makes some men & women believe that one sex is more superior or inferior than the other?
