i'm completely disagree with the above questions but i coudn't understand that why people in RURAL AREAS think that?

Why some girls don't get education? Why?
They have a right to be educated!

How can we stop this? How can we realize those who treats girl-child like this, that what they do is wrong? How can we make them realize girl child's value?

How? Any answer or suggestion?

Not beeing able to join the army or beeing a sports person does not mean beeing useless.
Not all positions in the army involve fighting and dealing with live ammunition, there is still a lot of cleaning and resupupply to be done around the army, why not recruit women for it to have more men avaiabel for the hard stuff.
They dont get education where ? In Iran and Afghanistan maybe.
Women proove themselfs by competing and edging out the competition, just like men do.

offcourse girls can join police and army. they are not at all useless whereas they are the future of our country. it is without a doubt narrow mindness of people who think of girls as not capable.
according to me we cannot compare girls and boys because they both are special and good in some or the other kind of work.
may be its true upto some extent that what a man can do a women cannot but it is as true as the statement that what a women can do a boy cannot.
i have full believe that one day or the other everyone is gonna believe in equality of girls and boys. it is a big change which cant be brought in a day or two. it certainly will take time and could be achieved only by proper education.
this problem in not limited only to backward areas but to modern people too. the only way to fight against it is if all the girls who are getting chance prove themselves capable not only in india but across the world and set an example for othres so that other girls can also get inspired and work their best.

For a lot of people girls come with a tag attached to them. What this tag reads depends upon the social status of the parents, for the lower strata it reads "dowry" and for the upper ones it reads "weak". The main problem lies in the fact that when a girl is helpless she turns to prostitution. Have you ever seen a man do it, then why should girl? Girls turning to prostitution sends all the wrong messages. Best thing would be education, education leads to knowledge and that leads to money, today which is equivalent to respect. There should be wide spread programmes to build the feeling of unity among girls and to teach them that unless and until they fight for each other they don't stand a chance in this male dominated society. Turning to your problem of girl child , it would be solved automatically, the mother would have her say and let the girl child live. Girls are equal to boys and can work in almost all fields except those which require intense physical strength. Therefore I personally believe that all girls should identify themselves not just as themselves but also as an organ in the body, unless they work together and have their say the situation is going to be the same.

It is true that uptil now it was thought that girls are not so much required for a family. The sole view expressed in favour of this concept was that they can not carry forward the family name and only sons can take care of their parents in old age. Slowly, now the views are changing/ have changed as sons even though exist are not ready to take care of their old parents and girls are found to be more caring for their parents in old age.
Now it is an open secret that girls are performing all the roles as responsible citizens of the country. Tghey have been found to be more mature, responsible and duty bound than the men.
Therefore, the question that can girls join police force or army is automatically answered , they are already there in these forces. So what more proof is required for this.

I was a police officer in the military. I lived in the burbs, but never felt useless or not able to do things. I got a great education....I just didn't pay attention to any of it. That was MY choice. I am treated as an equal by most......but I have the most problems with OTHER women!

definitely we can by creating awareness of every possible thing we can educate woman folks now India has developed to such an extent that sending messages in remote place is easier than before and also travelling to remote places is all the more easier for such social work so why wait go head and do the needful sky is the limit to prove your talent in this area and it would be a challenging work and a satisfactory thing to do in life's too. wish you all the best !

All girls are unique and special. Whether we're big-boned, skinny, petite, tall, muscular, not-so-muscular, black, white, Asian, Hispanic, Jewish, Catholic, Buddhist, agnostic, etc., or some combination of the above, we hold one thing in common -- we're girls (and proud of it!).
There are all sorts of things you can do to celebrate being a girl.
Read this:
If you want to put me
into little jars and slap labels on me,
you can go ahead and do that.
But you must be warned that the jars
wouldn't even fit on all the shelves
in all the world.

I am girlish but I am POWERFUL!

Education is simply not enough. I know a lot of girls who get educated but don't go to work. What was the point in being educated?

I am a girl & so you are & we feel that we are equal to boys but boys agreed with this statement ??If they agreed then miss/mrs AAnchal half the battle is won & left will be won someday .But if we get so much of education equal to the boys in urban areas & they (boys, society, family) still feel that we could not do anything then why we should waste our time in educating rural girls b'coz then they also feels what we feel after getting so much higher education .First we have to change our(male, society) mentality.

Absolutely not. Girls are every bit as capable as guys in every field.

They may have to focus on slightly different things in some rare cases in order to make up for the difference in body mass, but generally, there's no difference... and in fact, many professions that they excel in.

For instance, the smaller frame makes them really good candidates to fly planes.

Girls should definitely be educated... if they choose not to, it's a bad choice, but lots of guys make that mistake, too.

The only real way to stop it is to lead by example. Get out there and make better of your life and prove that gender is meaningless in the modern world. Believe in yourself!

That being said, I bet you're cute ;) You should come to my house.
