If you dont believe that women led buisnesses are more likely to fail or feel the need to provide proof for the opposite, please do not pollute my question.
Answer only if you agree that women led buisnesses are more likely to fail. Iam looking for other peoples opinions on why they think that women led buisnesses are more likely to fail. If you feel the urge to debate if women led buisnesses are more likely to fail please surpress it untill you found a forum that is more suited for debate rather than Q&A.

No I whish for an answer to my question. I do not whish to debate my question.
This is what the forum is for, to get answers to questions, although the tools it offer can be used to engage in debate, however I kindly asked to restrict yourselfs to answer my question. You could have pointed out the lack of daycare as a handicap for women, instead you got all emotional.

Remy the society in third world countries are structured differently. In most African tribes there is no classic marriage, the mother has the children. That means that the heir of a man is the first born son of any of his sisters.
Giving women money to support their families merely reflects an understanding of the social structures in those are which differ from ours.

Up your nose, how come you always negate the trustability of sources that dont make you feel good ?
Reread the question. It talks about likehood. Total numbers are irrelevant for likelihood. If 100 men started buisnesses and 10 women and out of those startes 50 men did it and only 2 women failed it would mean that despite the gross numbers women are more likely to succeed in buisness.

And yes I want people to agree with my question. How can somebody answer a question if he does not agree with it.
If you dont agree with the fact that the earth is round how the heck are you going to answer why it ended up shaped that way ?
Simpel logic isnt it ?

Rain you have your sourc I have mine. If you dont think that women operated buisnesses fail do not bother to answer. There is no point in answering a question if you do no agree with the premise. Is that too hard of a concept to grasp ?

Suni I cant really think of a better place to ask this kind of questions than the womens studies section on yahoo answers and thats why I did it ?
How is my question anti woman ? I do not see how my question is anti woman or any of my other questions are anti woman. You merely percieve them as anti woman because they dont make you feel good. Problems often do not make somebody feel good but the only way to deal with them is to accept them figure out the cause and work on a solution.

Lost Hero you moron, I did not dictate who can answer, I only kindly ask to only use the answer question button if you are actually going to answer the goddamn question. I dont want to wade through piles of **** posts with angry feminists trying to lecture me how women led buisnesses are not more likely to fail, using the answer question button to do so, but then not answering my question. How is that bullying ?

I was drawn to this question, since it is interesting.
I was hoping that you would back up the statement since the question was not 'whether' or not...but 'why' they fail.
If they do indeed fail, could it be that it is because of having less experience?
I know you delight in insulting women and I will not return the treatment and I am even going to risk mentioning a possibility that you could really run with if you were less of a gentlman....
Would it be because of the differences betweem the male and the female intellect? Although there are no fast rules, maybe the fact that we think differently - not better or worse, but different, would affect our leadership or management in certain types of business.
We all know that some things women do better and some things men do better. We should embrace those differences and work together, shouldn't we?
Another reason might be that we complete in different ways. It could be our access to funding. We haven''t been in business as long. We cannot ignore though that many women are very successful in spite of those differences.

Right, can't remember where I heard this but . . . Basically you get more men going into politics, law and more powerful business positions simply because men are more aggressive and power hungry etc. This isn't a poor reflection on men or women, just highlighting their differences, ok?
Women are by nature more sympathtic, more maternal, more nuturing (due to both socialisation and hormones) and this is why they tend not to thrive so well in hightly competitive and aggressive fields of employment. There are studies out there demonstrating this, but I can't remember who by or when. If you carry this through, I guess it would make women less successful.
Of course, we are all subject to individual differences and there are cases I'm sure where roles are reversed, but as far as I'm concerned differences between the sexes shouldn't be a competition, but embraced. Both men and women are equally valuable and important. I wonder whether instead of writing an article as outlined above it would be more interesting to look at charitable contributions, or whether they worked in a more environmentally friendly way or employee satisfaction levels. . .

I tried to link to the site you gave, but the article did not appear.
I have no idea what kind of businesses the article was referring to. Let's suppose that in certain fields this might be true: maybe it is because some women lack the self confidence men are given since birth by education in general.
I want only to add that in small businesses especially in third world countries women are doing very well. So much so that the projects for help in third world countries usually give money to women to start their business and not to men, because they know women will provide for their family better, instead the majority of men (not all of course) tend to spend the money on themselves.
Furthermore I don't know how much you can trust a report on women from a site called: mensnewsdaily

So if I don't think that women operated businesses fail then you don't wish for me to answer...is that correct? what you need to do is set up a forum where you can post a picture of your ar.se......then all those agreeing can partake in kissing it for you.
Surely anyone with half a brain would accept that a question requires an answer....whether it's agreeing with your viewpoint or not...well, I can't post a picture of my ar.se here but you can kiss it anyway....& don't bother posting a subscript as I'll not be wasting my time in returning to read it.....not unless it's something that I find agreeable anyhow......UP YOURS!

So in other words, you wish for only fellow misogynists to participate, is that correct?
Sorry, 'sir' I did not get emotional. I'm only pointing out that you only wish for people with the same viewpoints as you to answer your question - I believe there are other forums made specifically for this - perhaps you could have your own website, a yahoo group, even blog about the subject. You cannot, however, dictate who can answer a question on this particular site.
Question for you though - why do all of your questions on here seem to be so anti-women? Did your mother hate you as a child or have you been screwed over pretty badly by a female?

What recent studies prove this, Rain? Where is your source?
...What?! NO SOURCE?!
Everybody on here knows you can't make a statement like that without a source. Come now! We are not a bunch of barbarians, are we?
Women led business MAY be more likely to fail if the women do not execute an effective business model, which could happen more often than with men. I do not know which is more apt to fail. I disagree somewhat with that link's premise, but if the "top 25" bit is true, it certainly goes to say something.
(It noted that the top 25 women-led businesses were either given to the women by men or co-owned with men. The one that WAS created by a woman filed a Chapter 11 (Bankruptcy) at the time of the publication)
EDIT: Do my homework?! I'm the valedictorian of my class right now! I know all about doing useless homework. The point is, when people post "sources," they post LINKS. You don't have to bother going through piles of information if people have the DECENCY to post what they're talking about. This you have not done, and I'm not going to bother with searching through page after page for your purported information. Try it on someone else.

Talk about bullying posters. You can't post a question and dictate what people can and can't post. You have to expect both negative and positive feedback and be prepared that some people may not agree and have the right to do so. If you can't handle that, then don't post, simple as that.
P.S. I couldn't access your link, could you please repost a working link to your source.

Your link didn't work. Go figure.
Anyways, Joanna Krotz, a small business and marketing writer, had some interesting (and expected) comments to make about the inevitable success of women in bussiness.
"Nearly 11 million privately held companies are now majority-owned (50% stake or greater) by women, according to the Center for Women Business Research, based in Washington, D.C. That accounts for nearly half (47.7%) of all private companies in the United States. In addition, women-owned companies now generate $2.5 trillion in annual sales and employ 19 million people nationwide.
Typically, women operate and manage those businesses in some significantly different ways than men do. Recent studies point out that while both male and female styles of leadership can be effective, "female" frequently has the edge".
By the way, I call bulls-h-i-t on your entire question and your motive behind it. You're quite transparent.
ADD ON ADD ON READ ALL ABOUT IT!:
Cassius
No concept is too hard for me to grasp - when I’m interested in it. Sadly, your “concept” bores me and as a result I'm inclined to ignore it. It’s just how I’m wired.
Robinson
Are you visually impaired? I said “Joanna Krotz”, look her up instead of expecting to have all the answers handed to you. (This proves my point that men like you simply expect all women to mother them). Furthermore, perhaps cassius is just a snotty nosed teenager looking for us to do his homework…perhaps his project is REALLY about attaining data that women ARE excelling in business and has come here in 'charlatan-mode' to get us to do his highschool assignment for him. With that in mind I'll keep my sources to myself.
RobbyO, if you want to learn about how women are excelling in business, go do your homework. See how simple?

Quite frankly, I would need more information than the article given as a reference. The article itself is based on one person's opinion than facts. I need to find other resources such as the SBA (Small Business Administration) to get more data, or other resources that are more objective than the article. In article was waiting for the person to write that a women will fail in the business because her uterus would drop while running it. I wouldn't completely trust one source.
