Most people nowadays are filing for divorce especially the females {sorry to say}. Is it because of the lack of marital solution from the government, financial difficulty amongst the copules or divorce has been made simple to file for nowadays? What are your opinion about this issue? What can the government do to solve this problem?

This face makes me want to take a sledge-hammer and destroy it. I constantly think of every single solitary way I can get rid of my nose or my ugly chin, lips, cheeks, boring eyes, what have you. I hate myself for having no prospects. I have to wait until some ugly sod finally settles for me. My brain, personality, interests get me no where with men. I am just a 1 or a 4 and ever since I was 14 I have thought about jumping off of something because God obviously hates me enough to make me this ugly. I'm not lovable, I love people, but no one ever loves me back. I've worked so hard to burn so much weight, but I'm left with a plain and ugly face that people want to avoid. I am in therapy and it doesn't work. Has such an ugly girl found love from someone who wasn't uglier than her?

I was an awkward looking kid growing up ..I got teased by boys for the way I look. Then during puberty - I got much prettier...

The problem is I still feel ugly & insecure in front of boys inside and maybe they sense it ....

Although I don't have any problems attracting men ...something always goes wrong.

I can't get rid of the negative " I'm ugly" recording inside my head. I should get rid of it because it effects EVERYTHING I do.

How do I get rid of obscene past ?

The person who is a slave to the mind will not find peace or happiness in life. The body is a mansion which has been projected by the mind for its own joy. Some waste their lives by expending their energy in looking after the body. Some others increase their attachment through thoughtless repetition of spiritual exercises, reducing them to mere ritual. The wise man is he who controls the mind and purifies the heart by filling it with good thoughts.

ok, this is the scenario: i regularly complain of being fat - even though i am within a healthy weight range and am of average weight. i know i am not fat, but i wouldn't mind losing a little weight... its not hugely a big deal, as i work out most nights and eat very healthy foods. people say there is nothing wrong with my body and that i am not fat.
my flatmate is naturally stick thin and is a head shorter than me, she is tiny. she also says i am not fat, but that i am of a healthy weight.
one night, we were really drunk, and i asked her if i was fat - and she said yes.
around 7 months later, she was describing to me a girl from her work and described her as being, "a bit fatter than you". she then quickly corrected herself and said, "um a lot fatter than you...". and she kind of trailed off and tried to act as though nothing had happened. i did not mention anything to her - but i do believe she had made a Freudian slip, which occurs when a person says what they really mean before

Yesterday by the lake she got a call and we had to scram back to her house. Dinner at her uncles all of a sudden. Last night seemed endless, now I am alone with my mind. I'll miss our walks and talks. How can she pretend all the while I met something to her?

I know my question sounds confusing. You know when you see women on t.v or in books that are single and are doing alot with their lives when they are single and some grow to be stronger, happier and you look up to them but to be honest you don't see those same stories when your married. It looks like you have to be single and have a clear mind mind. Kind of like when you have a low self esteem, it can grow and grow but when your married, your with the same person and that probably why you have a low self esteem. Im not against marriage (im married) and I want to be proven wrong. What do you think?

One of my friends has scizophrenia, he went to a church, where he learned to associate the voices he was hearing with God's voice, and got confused, leading him to believe he was following what God said. He stopped going to the church, and got helped, now people from the Church want to bring him back, talk with him, and pray for him, yet I feel as if they would be the problem, and they do not listen to some family members who say no to it all, and the family is afraid it will start up again. So ....is the church to blame, and how do you stop this from effecting the situation more, and will it?

What do you think of this pro-feminist plot that went wrong? I don't know if you heard about the BBC last year which ran a 'reality', let's make men look stupid programme where they took all of the women out of a small village for a few weeks and left the men to fend for themselves. Housework, cooking, kids. Oh how they anticipated disaster and incompetence.

I can imagine the planning and production team readying themselves for vignettes of piss taking, show-the-men-up segments.

The place ran like clockwork; housework was done, perfectly in 35 mins a day; food was prepared and beautiful, nutritious meals made; kids had a whale of a time, instead of the expected wail. All the dads thought it was a huge, fun holiday. The village actually came together as a splendid place to live. Men got together and got to know one another, cooperating like chaps like to do. Games on the village green, the lot.

The women were all pissed off like nobody's business. The BBC too.

(Thanks Kim)

I'm intelligent and have many goals. I like getting ideas from others because I feel that we are all connected one way or another as a unit. I need some advice to motivate me to do the right thing so i'll tell you a little bit about my issues so that you can help me resolve them. For 2 months now, I haven't been employed. I do absolutely nothing productive in my life. I'm at home most of the time. I stay up all hours of the night. I don't answer the phone when it rings most of the time unless it's my girlfriend calling me. The rent is backed up which my girlfriend has been paying. I know it's not fair to her. I hate being in this predicament. I look through job postings but I can't find the right job that suits me or interests me. I come from a pretty wealthy family but don't communicate with any of them. They've called me a loser and a liar for years. No one has ever believed in me. I'm trying to believe in myself.

I sit at my desk all day, answer personal emails, answer people on medhelp.org (Relationship forum), read the news. Or, I stare out my office window wondering about my life.

My job is extremely boring and my boss is a micro-manager and I've just given up and let him do everything. The other day he showed me how to "sort" on Excel. I am an expert in Excel but I let him show me b/c I just dont' care anymore

Before you think I do no work at all, I do work at times but my job is basically a part time job and I can get it all done in abt 4 days a month.

I don't care anymore and worse, I have no desire to find another job which I know I should be looking for. I think I'm just afraid I will find another job like this one or else I'll be so busy I won't know how to handle it.

Has anyone else experienced this? What is my problem?

Thanks!

Could a surgeon make incisions and peel back the covering flesh over a face - just like a mask - so a person's eyes and skull and everything is exposed with the face pulled back.

Then could the person be consious with the face pulled back?
(after the surgeon should be able to push it back on)
