It depends on what type of frustration you are experiecing. But an effective way is to deal with the problem in a rational way but talking it out with the person who is frustrating you. Or if its a thing that is frustrating you find someone who can help you with it.

I know this sounds stupid, but I always just think of how much of a better person I would be if I could control my emotions so I do it and believe it or not it works. Just tell yourself to stop and it actually works.
