I am usually a very happy person, never prone to depression or misery but when I have been out drinking, the next day I start having really miserable thoughts and feel really low. The day after that I am back to normal again.

Anyone else get this?

The stock market is driven by perceptions, fears, doubts, and expectations. there is no truely solid basis for its movements. at best, the procresses that contribute could be equated to circumstancial evidence. More recently, based on the stock market, there are "futures." futures seem to affect the stock market even as they attempt to predict it. (if anyone is un-aware but still following, futures can account for gas prices rising int the STates) How did this dogmatic mess come to exist as it does?!?!? Has anyone theorized on a way out? why was this able/allowed to happen as it did?

'Survival of the fitist' taken to its ultimate conclusion would leave one Corporation owning and employing just about everyone on the planet. Corporations need to be held in check and broken up by law. What do others think?

there are people who think its clever to tamper with your mind, saying things that they know will upset you, and in certain situations, theres no way to easily avoid them.

so without completley losing control, getting jaw clenchingly angry....where your growling, and feel like smashing everything in the room to tiny pieces. obviously not a thing to do.

so how do you cope with the demeaning, belittling psychological mind games ?

this would be for a person who is not good at playing mind games back, but build up with rage....where your teeth lock together because theyve got you so angry.......you dont do it.....but you imagine shattering their heads in with a heavy wooden object, completly battering their heads in and throthing at the mouth while you do it..

they play mind games that much and that often, this is how angry theyve got you.

what is the correct way to handle people who do this ?

I know we are not supposed to hate and we are taught to love our enemies. Easier said than done. I am not a vengeful or violent person, but we all have thoughts that would shame Hell.

I fantacize about my worst enemy being caught by that big ugly pit monster in the palace of Jabba the Hutt on the desert planet Tatooine from the Return of the Jedi. Luke Skywalker gets thrown into this pit along with a hippopotamus-looking guard (accident) who gets aggressively eaten by this beast. Luke outwits the beast by drawing it underneath it's heavy spiked cage door that falls and crushes the beast's neck.

In my fantasy, my enemy is caught by the beast but is not given a quick death. The beast toys with my enemy, chewing off limb by limb slowly and then finally cramming him up his beastly sphincter to suffocate in a grotesque and putrid Hell.

Eeeww!

Now I betcha you're going to say I have issues, right? No, its just the worst death I can think of. What's the worst U can think of?

Defend physiological psychology from this
criticism :

A philosopher has criticized the entire approach of physiological psychology. He claimed that
an understanding of the physical working of the brain and body would tell us little or nothing
about the mind: mental states could never be understood in terms of neural activity. He
concluded his criticism with the statement that, “Knowing how a computer’s hardware works
tells us nothing about the information it contains.”

I know that after the Opium War in the 1840's their economy suffered a huge hit and that a lot of the world came to colonize the country. But why and how did other countries come in and start setting up factories for cheap labor? Sources would be nice.
