in my old school - they'll know me because i was there before but that was in middle school, i won't be able to play soccer, people will still talk crap about me but they won't know as much as people do here, atleast i'll get outta the neighborhood here.

I know the answers about living in different climates, isolationism etc. However, it seems to me that if we all started out on the Continent of Africa, with the physical and physiological characteristics that are common there, it's a real stretch to think that moving to Norway is going to give us different bone structure, facial features, white skin and blue eyes, plus differences in our blood, i.e. no Sickle cells etc.
Anyone have any other thoughts on this that you want to share?

Why does it seem that headlines regard males as the norm and must distinctly indicate sex if it is a female involved in a story? Yahoo's headline, "Female suicide bomber kills 15" is insulting, because if it had been a male suicide bomber, the headline would not have read, "Male suicide bomber kills 15" but would simply have said, "Suicide bomber kills 15". If we were to replace sex with race, would there not be an uproar? "Black suicide bomber kills 15" would be highly protested. This isn't fair to females or males, as it disregards females and paints males up to be inherently vicious. Why is this type of reporting still accepted?

European intellectuals tried to explain the Mongol conquest of Poland, Russia, Silesia, and Hungary in any number of ways. Their explanations and stories reveal much about European fears and anxieties. What did the Europeans fear? What was the most immediate impact of the European misconceptions?

Can 6 children not related concoct a story, and for 25yrs
keep up the pretence,
But that story brought hope and peace to others,
Is it possible that one''
would break and spill the beans after so long,
and would it be possible that guilt would be the main faction
for coming clean
please give me your answers

I've read what other's have had to say about this statement, however non of them really asked what I've been thinking.

I believe this statement is incorrect, or perhaps incomplete.

The mere act of thinking does not make the concept of "I" true. Let me explain, just because I can close my eyes right now and think that I am an Astrounaut does not make me one. When we are in the state of 'doing' is when we really become the "I" in the statement mentioned earlier. Therefore, can it be said that this statement is incorrect because the mere state of thinking, we are not 'doing'... and therefore not 'being'. It is when we take action and physically manipulate our bodies into doing what we have thought that we really experience the essence of being alive and therefore living the "I" phenomena.

So, my question is, could the statement be more accurate if it went something like this...

"I think and when I DO what I think therefore I am".

I have a person that i've been working with for 8 years. She has a dominating personality (bossy, controling, overly confident, *****) and I have more of a timid personality. I think she has been treating me like a peon for a long time. At first, I thought she was a good friend to me, but then she started being a straight ***** and doing things to hurt my feeings. Later I realize that she was very selfish and she had that mentality every ***** for herself. I feel she is very manipulative and she only does things to make herself look good. Management at work likes her. Now she is about to buy a house and it bothers me because I've been wanting to buy a house. It's been bothering me really bad. Ifeel like I failed and I keep failing. I'm starting to feel that you have to be a manipulating and controling ***** to get a head.

Most everyone has heard that a troubled young man recently shot some people, killing them, and then turned the gun on himself.

Everyone wants to know what signs they may have missed in him that could have been worked with to prevent all of this. Can mental health "experts" be blamed for their claims that they know everything, yet they fail to catch the supposed signs ahead of time 100 percent of the time?

This again shows the inability of mental health "professionals" to deliver on what they shout so loud to all the world about that they know is so real and treatable. They have had more than 100 years to prove themselves as a science, yet they hurt more people or fail to protect those whom they are charged with protecting. Can they realistically call themselves a science?

Are they capable of performing in their chosen line of work? Should the mental health field be shut down and completely examined in depth like the "patients" they examine themselves? Rebuilt in some way?

Seems like many women(even men) are catty towards each other and cannot accept females as authority figures.
Cause if that wasnt the case there would have been at LEAST 1 woman President in America since the year America, land of the free and equal was born.

Over 200 years of "free and equal" and no woman President yet? hmmmmmmmmmmmm interesting. And for those who are slow and will point out that women havent had the right to vote until recently...........THAT's my point. It isnt free and equal then is it?????
