Depends where you live. Here in Australia it's the pressures of school, relationships, bullying, the high expectations placed on them by the people around them, the rising cost of living and the pressure it's putting on families... About the only thing you can rule out is the media here, as the media is doing everything it can to make sure teenages get help before they do something drastic.

Suicide among teenagers are usually caused by physical, emotional and psychological problems. most times, teenagers who commit suicides come from troubled homes. Or sometimes drugs and alcohol become their new friend. Psychological stress can make a teenager feel unworthy. or being molested and cant turn to anyone. Hopefully, most teenagers have somebody or someone who can be a crying shoulder on times. However,I believe in any family support is where to starts, no matter how minor or severe the crime in preventing suicide.

years ago, most teenagers had strong connections to their family. They were taken care of by their family and trusted them to the usual extent. Problems arose but they trusted an adult would come to the rescue. Nowadays, they have less people to trust and guide them. The world is a much more frightening place. It is a glamourous idea to them to go out in a blaze of glory. Old times it was considered a sin and generally believed you would go to hell. they just have such a lack of hope.

Too much influence from peer groups instead of relying on the family. Ever sat with a group of katty 15 year old girls?
Listen to them lie about their parents and complaining about everything. Girls do this flaming to bond with their friends/get attention - but it's all hateful and negative.

In the past kids relied on family who were able to pick up on things and get things straightened out b4 it escalated.
Kids should talk and be honest with their parents building trust & unity. Any teenagers reading this please think about confiding in family rather than getting tied up with angry peers leading to trouble.

They are spoilt brats with no backbone. They evidently don't have problems, if they had they would stick around to solve them, unlike doing it the coward way.

Fine, I do sympathise with those who kill themselves and thier familyies but the reasons for suicides these days are becoming more trivial. I mean I'v eseen pple with greater problems get more motivated to solve them unlike blowing yo brians out or jumping off a cliff!!

Parents, give yo kids backbones!!!!!!! Teach yo kids that life is tough its not always easy, it can get pretty tough and its no reason to kill yoself. Its actually a sign of failure.

The orther problem is that pple are becoming faithless, have religions peopl!! If u do at least u will end up valuing life more. If those pple blved in God and loved God, i'm telling u they would have been on the conqueror side of their problems.

youngsters commit suicide becuase its the straightforward way out for them.. while existence takes a incorrect turn eg undesirable pals, dad and mom, college, existence often rather of status as much because it a dealing with demanding circumstances they think of its extra straightforward to in uncomplicated terms end it by ability of ending there existence that's incorrect becoz by ability of doing that ur showing ppl ur vulnerable and that u cant take care of the rigidity of existence... all of us have fcked up stages in our existence merely cope with it makes u extra suitable while u come throughout it returned.

1. They want to stop hurting and feel overwhelmed.
2. They feel unloved and unnoticed and figure THIS will teach everyone a lesson.
3. Drugged or drunken decisionmaking.

cause there is a problem abuot how to raise your children , you are not allowed to disciplin them anymore , otherwise you might get a visit from child services , telling you how to raise your kids ,not the way u were taught by your parents , the difference between right / wrong .

because they are not taught how to handle their emotions, and some don't have anyone to talk to. Also some have been molseted or abused, so they think that life is not worth it. I know when the stress is too much I find ways to relax, others don't know how or do not have the resources to do so, I feel bad for them...
