I killed a bug the other night and my nephew said I shouldn't do that... I asked him why, and he said he didn't know why... He just knows it isn't nice. (He's 3 BTW.) How do we just know these things?

It seems random, but what is the "trigger" cause them to do it at that moment in time?

Paraphilia and Phobia's ..... seriously who took the time to label every thought that a human might have as a condition?

Why not label everything then, the sexual arousal you get from clapping your hands as "clapaphilia" if they are going to label sexual arousal from stealing things as Kleptophilia. Or the fear you get from smiles as smiliphobia. Dear God, please tell me they don't have that already! lol!

In my dream I was in a hospital bed and I gave birth to a baby, but there was no pains but and I could almost feel the head and body go through, but no pain. When the baby came out he was all clean pretty much and he wasn't all pink and pimply like how they normally come out. I got to hold him and I loved him so much but my dream ended when they took him from my arms to take care of washing and weighing and all of that stuff and the dream ended when I had to do the after birth. Does this have any meaning? Could it mean that this is something I desire or anticipate?

What strategies do you think managers can use to effectively communicate with difficult personalities? How can a positive attitude combined with a challenging personality affect the way people work?

I keep having bad dreams. But a lot of times, people I have never met are in them, however in my dreams, I seem to know them very well! Last night I had a bad nightmare. The only reason I am even on writing about this is b/c it's gotten to the point where almost every night it happens. The night before I dreamt my boyfriend of 3 yrs cheated on me with 4 diff. women. Last night I dreamt that 4 women were murdered in my dream, women I knew very well in my dream, but not real life. This man who murdered them was trying to come after me. Often my dreams are about someone trying to come after me and a lot of times people I have never met are in my dreams and they die. What does this mean and what can I do to help my bad dreams to go away? It's becoming very stressfull....thanks.

The question of "where have all the good men gone?" is often asked by women who can't fine or attract good men.

But most women will be quick to say when a particular man does not "deserve" a good woman. YET, they seem to believe ALL women deserve a good man... ?

Double standard?

Has anybody heard anything? Also how can anybody do such a henious thing, and when they do do they feel any remorse and regret. These were innocent people that had nothing to do w/ his life that he shot! I have had a nervous breakdown, but I never considered doing something like that. Is it a chemical/ electical thing in the brain, or is it a purely mental agression issue?

Its seems humans have evolved or been created (depending on your viewpoint) to a point where they are out of balance with their environment. Their ability to accumulate knowledge over generations has led them to totally dominate the Earth and other species. They have no natural predator apart from those from the micro biological world. How could God/nature make such an error? It's as if something has interfered in the natural balance of things.

It's hard. You have no distractions in front of you. The teacher is lecturing, your paying attention for one second and the next minute you drift off. And then when you realize you lost focus, you already don't know whats going on. I'm not like some other kids, who sleep in class, who choose not to stay on task. I get so mad at myself everytime I'm off task. I don't know what's going on, I never do.

I'm sorry I don't know what's going on. Why am I like this?

What can I do to stay focus. I could ask someone to pinch me.

Yet recent data from the Treasury Department and the IRS shows that most people who were in the proverty bracket just a few years ago has "moved on up" 2 the middle class bracket, & many middle classers are now in the upper class! I just moved from the south where there are few prospects of jobs, inflation has caused rent, utlities, & etc. 2 increase in price. Yet I move 2 the mid-west & there are jobs seasonal, & year round & they are far above the national minimum wage. Although the pay has not increased with the raising of minimum wage it is on average $1.50+ above it.
Is this more of a regional issue than national, & are politicians using the regional statistics rather than National Average for their platforms? Is this because the remaining middle class that has been dwindeling since 2003, after Bush's tax return increase? Is this because of people's perception of this change? We are still considered poor but we aren't. I only work & I can support the family myself. How?

i was sexually abused as a child, i have never told any one about it, i am in my 30s and have always managed to put it out of my mind, but latley its all i can think about, i dont know why the past has come back to haunt me but it is starting to get me down and affecting my daily life.

i was abused by my mothers then boyfriend, from the age of 8 to ten, he used to come int my at night or when my mother was out

i have managed to block out what happened, but like i said latley the memories have come back, so clearly, ive started having panic attacks, but have been unable to tell anyone the reason why, i cant even bring myself to say it out loud, ive never used this as an excuse in fact i have been determined not to let this hold me back, so why would it start getting to me now? and why am i finding it so hard to block out, i dont understand

My best friend and I have been BEST friends for 13 years (we were 9, we're 22 now.) I was close to her family and she was close to mine. When she graduated from college, she moved back home (that's how dependant and how much of a daddy's girl she was) and when her dad went to the hospital several times for weeks at the time, I would stay with her and try to keep her company and keep her occupied. We found out her dad had cancer about 7 months ago. We all knew it was coming, but he died on Tuesday (two days ago).
The funeral is Friday. I've never been to a funeral, only to a wake. I need to know what to say, what to wear, and what to expect. I need to know funeral etiquette. I need to know for her.
My friend is a teacher and very poised. I know she's probably going to be cryng her eyes out and it's going to be very dramatic to see her like that because she's normally so strong. Her Fiance' will be there, but I'm the best friend and I need to know what to do.
Thanks,
C.

When a social philosophy depends upon dehumanizing humanity, I can't help but wonder if feminism's moral philosophy is morally bankrupt.

Since abortion can apparently only be justified by referring to fetuses (i.e. babies in the womb) as parasites or tumors or by viewing the mother as a temporary chimera and noting that we have an apparent right to "destroy" those who are dependent on us (but are obviously genetically distinct), does that mean we have the right to destroy those who are dependent on others by virtue of social necessity? For example, do we have the right to destroy the mentally disabled or the poor, since they also fit the dictionary definition of "parasite"?

Am I the only one who sees the danger in dehumanizing humanity in this way?

I can be very sensitive towards what people say. i dont have much respect of my elders. someone who is approx 70 and up i am but anyone below im mean im as honest with them as i can be. alot of times i try to contain myself but alot of times i just get so angry. sometimes i imagine myself hurting people im upset with imagining it over and over in my mind. I dont know who to talk to. to some im this sweet little girl who doesn't harm anyone. to others im mean and nasty with no respect. yet everybody says im quiet.way too quiet for them. help
