I keep having bad dreams. But a lot of times, people I have never met are in them, however in my dreams, I seem to know them very well! Last night I had a bad nightmare. The only reason I am even on writing about this is b/c it's gotten to the point where almost every night it happens. The night before I dreamt my boyfriend of 3 yrs cheated on me with 4 diff. women. Last night I dreamt that 4 women were murdered in my dream, women I knew very well in my dream, but not real life. This man who murdered them was trying to come after me. Often my dreams are about someone trying to come after me and a lot of times people I have never met are in my dreams and they die. What does this mean and what can I do to help my bad dreams to go away? It's becoming very stressfull....thanks.

To answer some of your questions, and by the way, thanks to everyone who responded I do appreciate the feedback, I have not started any new medications. I never thought food could be the culprit, I will watch what I eat closer to bed and see if that causes it. Stress could be it too and I will definitely pray. I don't think there are ghosts in the house, not b/c I don't believe in them, because I do, but I don't think there are any in my home. I will try some of these recommendations but mostly it seems I am insecure about something in my life, I just have to find out what it is and why it always turns into murder, pain, struggle, cheating, anguish, fear, etc. in my dreams...

just because you dream it, doesn't mean it will happen.
It is more about the emotions and the fears that are surfacing.

You don't feel safe or protected.
Is your house secure, as in locked windows
or alarm features???
this is probably only a warning dream,
as in you are worried about friends of yours
being taken advantage of or harmed by a mean man
(wolf in sheep's clothing?)

I must ask if you read murder mysteries,
or watch fightening films...
to stop for a while...

perhaps your imagination is picking up on the plots
of TV shows or other books, and that is why your sleep
is uneasy.

I usually would say to pray, and ask God to
hold you in love and peace, to allow you to have
peace-filled dreams and calm rest...
even a childish type of verse,
like "now I lay me down to sleep...i pray the Lord my soul to keep" may be enough of a reminder to your mind that we are not at the mercy of some dark meanness, but that we have love and light to embrace us and protect us...day or night.

Big Hugs.

First, permit's define rape. when you consider which you're utilising the term 'rape', with regard to a baby, i'm below the impression, which you probably did no longer seek for regulation enforcements help. Sexual abuse of youngsters isn't uncommon, and is a administration subject of a unwell individual. Too a lot of people think of that's a sexual subject, and this is no longer. that's a administration ingredient for the guy, committing the crime. If he died once you have been nonetheless youthful, then probability is you not at all had the prospect to confront him as an grownup. On greater even words. If the comparable dream is stoning up and the after outcomes of the abuse is streaming over into your grownup existence, I strongly advise you seek for professional consoling. in case you do not have coverage, or can no longer discover the money for such, each state as a series cut back fee. look at it this way, you have been a sufferer as a baby of somebody who felt that they had the main staggering to regulate you in a unwell and deviated way. when you consider that administration is the priority, whether that's streaming over into your grownup existence, then he's from the grave controlling you back. you're actually not any further a baby, yet an grownup. upward thrust up and take administration of your individual existence. I advise you call your community rape disaster warm line or you gyn to communicate it. good success and God's velocity.

Sounds like you're very stressed, and it may be because of medication or foods you're eating? I never thought cheese would influence my dreams, but if I eat it too close to bedtime I have the craziest dreams and nightmares! That goes the same for stress; I have the worst nightmares if I'm stressed about something.

Are you on some kind of medication that you just started? Often some meds will cause bad dreams while your body is adjusting to them.
Otherwise, you can go to www.dreammoods.com and find out what's going on.
Also, if you're going through a stressful time, nightmares can happen.

Maybe there is a silent ghost in the house?
Ghost can make you dream what ever they want.
Buy vinigar and put some in a egg cup and put it near by your bed.
It is only my theory?
Silent ghost is that you will not notice them.
