Has anybody heard anything? Also how can anybody do such a henious thing, and when they do do they feel any remorse and regret. These were innocent people that had nothing to do w/ his life that he shot! I have had a nervous breakdown, but I never considered doing something like that. Is it a chemical/ electical thing in the brain, or is it a purely mental agression issue?

Oh, so this guy was a teen! I missed that this morning. If that was the case than I do agree with a lot of you, the parents should have done their job and intervened.
A teacher can do only so much.
This guy had issues, he just wasn't crazy. Some serious issues that SHOULD have been adressed far earlier.

I am not going by the suicide note of a teen anger. The fact is , he was mentally highly strung and the family( I mean, the parents) didn't do their job in a manner expected of good parents in understanding the abnormal behaviour by him and other deficiencies in him.The young boy was hardly monitored or educated by his parents with regard to a few abnormalities in him.
The ultimate Act of the boy is simply an outburst of lot of anger in him which the parents only could detect much earlier had they been little caring.Don't expect school teachers could do any better job in this other than the parents.
Parental guidance is always the best.Negligence in this respect is unpardonable.

His suicide note said something like "now I'll be famous" or something... that and "now I won't be a burden on my family..."

He'd also just lost his job; been thrown out of his home and broken up with his girlfriend.

I guess he merely snapped from the stress. I don't know about remorse or regret. This was planned, so he knew exactly what he was doing. He might have felt something in the minutes before suicide... I doubt that would be of much compensation to anyone who lost someone to that tragedy.

He missed out on being taught coping skills. He was just a dumb kid that took a few hard knocks on the chin and decided to "off" some people in return. He is the product of an increasingly immoral society that cheats kids out of family values and societal coping skills.

He was a troubled person who was very depressed. He just lost his job, his family had kicked him out and he just broke up with his girlfiend. His note said that he didnt want to be a bother to anyone any more. He had a mental illness and was not getting therapy or medication.

Cant people just be plain ol' crazy anymore? It seems like everyone wants to blame what he did on some kind of "mental" disease. He did it, not the disease. Lets just call him crazy and be done with it.

no one really knows except for the person...all i know is that i pray for those innocent people and their families...and also for the family members of the one who started it.

his parents kicked him out, he had a drug & alcohol problem, his gf dumped him, and he wanted to become famous - well, the media said he said "famous," but he probably meant infamous.
