in the West? We have equal legal rights, allowing us to make as much money, and run the show in the workplace. In some areas we're even "unofficially" favored more (sexual harrassment/domestic abuse). Try calling the cops on a boyfriend while crying on the phone as a woman or telling your boss some coworker made you feel "uncomfortable!" We have the option of being a career woman or a housewife (don't even tell me the option, according to social/personal values is the same for men) Yet, at the end of the day, most men, by tradition, hold the door open, pay for dates, allow us to take the only seat left, or pick up the car in the rain, for the simple fact that we are women.

Undeniably, social double standards continue to exist when it comes to our bodies, sexuality etc. and we need to change that BUT do you ever appreciate the great position we have today and the positivive side also?

MOST OF ALL.... be honest to yourself!!

1/What, if any, is the proverb/anecdote that you have found most useful, or comforting in times of need or unease??(Difficult one, but try not to pluck the first one that, you remember?!(unless, appropriate?!)

2/If the possibility arose, which person from any period of time, and any position in life(NOT A RELATIVE, PARTNER OR FRIEND!), would you choose to spent 1 hour with, why and what would you do in that hour?(TRUTHFULLY!!)

3/IF....YOU MET Yourself - Try and take a second or two..- do you think that you would like the person that you are??(Think carefully!!??) And do you think that you would be friends with 'you'??

I've looked deep within, personally, I'll give my answers tomorrow!? (Honestly, still thinkig one of them through!) 8-) Thanks for taking part

Might sound a bit silly... but i used to think as a kid, and wonder about this... that you'd be stuck in that dream and unable to get out, because your body is dead..

Because when you think about it, our dreams come from our mind... which isn't part of the body...

It's all a bit weird ain't it?

Sometimes when I dream, what I dreamt happens. Or in my dream I am given certain information which then makes sense later on.
For example I had a dream about this guy at school. His face constantly appeared before me followed by another boys face also from my school but I did not know him, I only recognize him. The next day I found out that they were brothers.

Another one was when I was waiting in the hall for my japanese teacher to come but he never arrived. The next day the same thing happened. There are many other dreams which have happened.

What does this mean when this happens?, and does anyone else go through the same thing?

What I'm saying is that do you wake up happy and positive? Do you wake up depressed and roll yourself out? Are you ever scared about what may come your way that day? Do you even think about it at all? Or do you just get up and systematically and let your life happen?

In my dream, i was asleep in my bed, next to hubby and i opened my eyes and standing at the window was a man. He was basically just a black shadow with about 4 - 6 arms. I could not see a face or anything. I screamed, absolutely terrified. The scream woke me up, and i was shaking.

These are the crazy things........
When i screamed in my dream, i actually screamed in real life, (usually they are little or muffled) it was bloodcurdling and really loud. My hubby thought one of the neighbours would have called the police, because of its intensity. It sounded like i was being murdered.
I was so scared, i woke up shaking. I was shaking for ages.
In the dream, the man said nothing, but the dream had something to do with anorexia. Hard to explain, but that msg was very clear.
the setting of my dream was mirror image. Identical to how everything was at that exact second.
Why do you think i was so scared from such a quick dream, and what does the anorexia msg mean?

They don't know how much I like them.

Based on my best answer selection, they might think that I may not take their answer seriously.

But what they don't know is that I very curiously wait for their answer. Not to know the answer, but to get their response.

I am never satisfied with the way I look. I am always trying to look better, and it consumes all my thought life. I always have a picture in my head concerning how I look when out in public, and don't relax much, as I often worry if I still look alright. Is this a Michael Jackson complex? I've had it all my life.

Some people I know are kind of middle-aged in their twenties. Other people remain interesting into old age.

What makes a person middle-aged? Is it doing boring things all day with money? Most of the interesting older people seem to be people who are doing creative stuff in science and art and those kinds of things, not things with money.

What do you think?

I ran over a dog once by accident, and it was a traumatic experience. The security guard did the right thing, and it is a good thing she was there. My problem is with her attitude after the fact. She talked about how the Holy Spirit helped her to kill the gunman. Next, she is running in front of every camera and t.v. show. She is not an innocent bystander with a gun; she is a professional who is into the martial arts. Yes, I am glad she was there, but even cops and soldiers have killer remorse. It is a natural grieving process when we have to take a life. She is all over the place. This is sort of like the story of the woman in Georgia who became a hero. We later found out that it was more to it than what she said. This is not the first time this woman used a gun but throwing the Spirit in the mix is more commerical worthy. The gunman had to be stopped, but at the end of the day she has to live with having to take a life. Having a background in counseling, something is missing.

It's well known that some races are prolific in great marathon athletes, some boast great sprinters, and some soccer players. While physical characteristics can differ from one race to another, why not intelligence (which could be related to brain structure)? Does the refusal to acknowledge such a difference really result from a lack of scientific evidence??

and her house is a beautiful garden with meadows and statues
my grandmother invites me and in and tells me that theres a boy waiting for me
so i see him and run to him (hes a boy i was really into at the time i had this dream)

I had this dream about a couple weeks ago but one part has already come true. The first part is that I'm driving with a friend of mine (we're sort of dating in real life) and suddenly my transmission goes out and I can only reverse the car. So, he suggests that I drive it in reverse. I end up backing up into a shopping center. Then I get out of the car and run into this really dark basement. I walk towards this wooden crate sort of thing and pick up a baby that looks like doll. Its the guy and he had turned into a baby with green eyes (he has brown eyes in real life, btw). And according to the dream, he was a child actor and starred in films as a baby boy. Then a movie credit rolls and the background is black with red letters. Although, his name is mispelled, he is credited as being the baby boy.

Please help me...the first part already came true because my transmission is now ruined in my car (without any warning signs). What does him turning into a baby mean?
