I posted a question about this long time back. But I didn't refer to it as intuition, exactly. More like a sixth sense that every animal has, that seems (to me, anyway) to be better developed in females.
I mentioned that I like to hunt. Not because I like to kill things, but because I like to eat meat and I don't like meat that's full of growth hormones and antibiotics. And I learned early on not to stare at an animal I was waiting for a clear shot on. They'd notice me and bolt. Does will sooner than bucks.
American Indians (or native Americans that came from Asia before we came from Europe or whatever) have long considered this "intruder sense" a given among all animals (including humans). Most people have sensed someone staring at the back of their head and turned around, but blew it off as coincidence and perhaps never gave it any more thought, and almost certainly never considered trying to develop that sense, the same way a blind person develops his remaining senses.
But that doesn't make it any less real, and as I said, it does seems better developed in females. Maybe because they have more to fear, maybe because they are more vulnerable, maybe simply because they are more open to the possibility that it IS as real as I believe it is. Seems like women are more perceptive and certainly harder to fool with lies than men, in any case.
Word of unsolicited advice to people (especially women) who have felt what I'm talking about: Don't be afraid to trust your instincts. They won't let you down as often as unsolicited advice and self help books.
It'll take all the intuition you can muster to make sense of all that, yo?

As a Father, intuition plays an important role. Naturally, it's not 'just' womens intuition (that's just a supremacist myth to add an air of mystery) but shared between the sexes. Once upon a time men were known for their 'gut instincts' but that phrase seems to have been phased out somewhat.

Yes, I believe. My female peers seems able to read into me in the most amazing way. When I'm with my friends, and there's something I don't want to share (not too serious: a bad day, a little accident, something nasty enough to kill the mood) I put on a facade because it's not so serious, and draggin 'em into my mood would be pointless. When I'm with a woman, she just "knows" and puts there some additional kindness, without making it feel like some sort of pity.
Maybe we, as men, were repressed as kids, because if we showed more emotion than usual, they would be called sissies and effeminates. A woman embraces emotion, then can read into the outward signs of happiness, sadness, love and stuff

I think that I have women's intuition too. Before my husband and I got married we were watching the PTL ( Praise the Lord) Club with JIm and Tammy Faye Bakker. I told my future husband that these two people were crooks. He said no that they weren't crooks. Well, years later we all know what happened to the two of them.
I aways go with the feelings that I get.
I have a tendency to judge people very fast and am usually pretty accurate about my feelings. Some times time is what has helped to proven me right.
My son was driving without his lisence ( he hadn't gotten it yet). He wanted to leave for work about a hour early. I kept trying to stall him and my husband said to let him go. Well, against my better judgement, I let him drive off. Sure enough, he hit the back of a man's pick up. No one was hurt though.
There are other instances that I could tell you about.

As a mother, I definately believe in intuition, and I think every woman has it, but there are a lot of women out there with busy lives who are not in tune enough -or trusting enough -of their gut feelings to rely on them. I know that I have never been disappointed when I listened to that inner voice and acted accordingly.

Humans are animals. Like other animal species, we posess certain instincts that have enabled our species to survive. Much of this instinct has been has been bred out of us - and other domesticated animals - but vestiges remain. Animal instinct has nothing to do with 'women's intuition' or intuition period. And no, I don't believe in so-called 'women's intuition'.

I do and sometimes I wish I didn't have it because it works in a negative way too for example, I had those man I was really in love with and he left me for another woman. I ceased all conversation with him but knew that he had married this woman soon after we split. I was right, he did.

Yes, but not only women have it. There are some men who have it to. I like to think of it as "inner intuition" that is more commonly found in women than men. Calling it "Women's Intuition" makes it out like it's this endowment given to women.

i think if we are in music with ourselves, that our instinct serves us nicely. no longer something/no person is often good, yet i've got got here upon that extra cases than no longer, my instinct approximately specific human beings/situations have shown good. it extremely is in simple terms between the perks of being a woman! :-)
