K-Fed.
Seriously, the term gold-digger isn't gender specific. Both genders can be gold-diggers. It would be perfectly proper to call a male a gold-digger if the shoe fit.

Feminist. Feminist consume huge amounts of societal resources, and give little in return. When was the last time you saw an "equality minded" feminist marching on Capitol Hill demanding that 50% of the military stationed in Iraq are female? Or demanding that 50% of all draftees are female. The answer, of course, is that you will never see this because feminists want to continue to enjoy all the America has to offer with little responsibility.

I don't think that there is an absolute equivalent term. A 'gold-digger' is a raptorial social parasite whose only means of support is as a professional escort for men who have the where with all to be able to keep her in the manner to which she has became accustomed. A gigolo is something slightly different.

Mercenary. Muhammad was allegedly one because he married a rich woman 15 yrs. his senior while he was only a camel driver. This term is from polite society and having been there and done that (accused I mean), and having struggled through a rocky 10 marriage I am someone of an expert because of the school of hard knocks.

Mr. Gold Digger. Or Sir Gold Digger if he's a bit more formal.

Gigolo ... or, for the extra dash of colour, what about 'lounge lizard'.
My Nana used to refer to men as 'lounge lizards' and I've always rather liked the term, it's so Edwardian somehow, lol.
Cheers :-)
