If you look at wealthiest societies in the world there seems to be a correlation between freedom and wealth. Do you agree with this? Why?

at cheer and now my coach... does not like me. It was about someone saying something rude, and she wouldn't continue with practice until someone admitted it. The problem is, only the two people I was with know the truth. AND, it is totally believable that I would've said it because of what it was. Even worse, I got a rash (happens when I get stressed, etc) a few minutes later. I was bright red, and I asked to go to the bathroom. I went for a run around the school (sounds crazy, but I had to do what I had to do) and it started to clear up.
Now, I feel this horrible guilt inside of me. Like the kind you feel when you say you DIDN'T do something and you really DID do it.
IS THERE SOME WAY TO JUST WASH THIS EVENT OFF OF ME?
I feel like confronting the coach would just make it worse, and it would make her & me keep thinking about it.
This is so horrible. I cannot even concentrate on my homework or anything. PLEASE HELP.

Thanks
:)Ayelle

Although this happened a little more than a year ago, I've always wondered what it meant. In my dream I saw two old high school friends through a window of some sort of shop. The girl was trying on a wedding dress and her (ex)boyfriend was standing near her. Outside of the shop I saw myself and a few other people jumping to reach for apples on a tree.

I feel terrible right now. My friend stood by and watched me forsake others for her, I took up for her. It seems it is her who causes the greif going around. I am wrong about things, how it seemed is not what is. What should I say to her?

Everything seems to be crumbling around me. The only people I have left are my family. I dread going to school now, my friends seriously have abandoned me. I'm always down and depressed now. I wish my life would just end. All those people who I thought were my friends have turned their back on me. I have though about suicide...But I love my family to much. I'm 14yrs old, and in my last year of Middle School. Please give me your advice.

I am writing a paper for our English and I'm arguing that our society is not immoral based on the fact that people have a natural sense of morality and that morality is directed and fine tuned through our sociological environment. I'm going crazy looking for an exact definition in any resources.... it's a gray topic. I'm trying to say that there are so many different types of morality that it's tough to say what is immoral and what is not, and that most people have some form or moral conscience. If anyone out there could help suggest ways I can ague my point, PLZ HELP!

Men have the ability to think with emotions, or to focus on whats important to them without emotional interference rather. I believe my life would improve tremendously if I could master how to detach my self from things/feelings that don't matter. Women who take testosterone (for gender reassignment) have notice significant changes in their thought, for example. Whats a good way to master this form of thinking???

Why do i have guiltiness for one thing most of the time?
Is believing that you'll get punished ocd?
i feel that for the unwanted thought, i'll get punished by being unable to do thing properly in every aspect of life, such as my thought, movement, and everything will be of curse because of what i did
i feel this way anytime i convince myself of being guilty
i feel that i need to ask for forgiveness for what i said or else i'll get punished
i also kind of curse on myself that i'll be doing weird things like suddenly i'll think that i'll be thinking of my movement and im going to look weird, i know that but people are not likely to notice
there's nothing like this system of punishment, right?
the only difference and ultimate decision is between heaven and hell?
i having a hard time right now, kind of depressed about the blasphemy thing that i did a few years ago, can't let it go because it's such a big deal, but i can't remember if i said the blasphemy or not, i got frustrated saying it in my mind, so i let it out
i know it's time to move on, but..

should i just not do it because it's my ocd?
everytime when i feel depressed or feel that i need to do something, should i ignore it and move on to fix this?
i want to fix it by myself but im ok for a few days, but it comes back, and i have to fight with it again or am i doing wrong?

hope you answer my questions instead of telling me to go because i've heard that over 100 times from just this section

if it's something that needs to be fixed, it everything that i do would be on my mind, but constantly have at mostly or more than one thing on my mind to think about all the time unless i convince myself that im free of it because of this reason
i always have to have a reason to have freedom, but there's too many category and factors to think about

I think we live in a inadvertant sexually opressed society, where women are supposed to be free to be objects... We are "free", but over sexualized by the media. Women are used as sex objects to sell everything to men and women. We can show almost the entire flesh of a breast, but god forbid anyone see a nipple. What is up with that?

P.S. I'm not referring to the sex trade as it is a completely seperate issue to me.

Ive read alot of new paper atricles about Hillary Clinton and her "womans power" being put into her Presidential Campain. But I dont really agree with any of her campain propaganda.I dont feel she will deliver the things she promises. But I almost feel obligated to vote for her,for president because shes a woman.I'm all for woman empowerment, but I dont want to vote for her.
Does sex diversify this campain,or should I go with my gut feeling and vote for a man?

Over the past century, there's been a shift in attitudes about the connection between medicine and identity.
To what extent do you believe one's personal sense of fulfillment connected to the physical? Can medicine help us feel more like our "true" "natural" selves?

Do you think alot of this concept is typically American, & are the shaped identities we strive to obtain, seeded into our minds mainly by the culture?

When we take medication, undergo cosmetic surgery & what not...are we doing it for our own self fullfillment?, or due to an inner inferiority complex that we don't fit the bill of mental health or appearance?, and if it is in fact based on fixing our esteem, and ending suffering...Does it suddenly become a serious medical treatment, comparable to that of therapy?

And, when it comes down to it, is there really anything to be done about it, if this is all relative to general social standards & human nature?

I had a dream that a secret admirer gave me a love note on a black christmas ball (I posted the dream on another question) and after the teacher told me that the ornament was very expensive and a real treat, the next thing I know is that I was on a deserted island chasing a dog and when I caught the dog, I was on a plane with other people and my crush. I saw that the sides of the plane were starting to come off. I was going to say something, but the flight attendent said something about it doing that for safety reasons. I was still a little worried about it but forgot about it. Then the sides came off and I was back on the island.

i had this crazy dream last night about my little brother dying. our neighbor killed him and my family didn't believe me when i told them that i didn't do it until i started screaming to the sky "why not me?" and when i was praying i felt like he was there for real. i woke up in tears seconds later.....

my family and i are close although now i live a whole world away from them. i got into a fight with my brother last night on the internet about my short visit home, and im not sure if it was that this argument bothered me or what but i have never had a dream about anyones death in my family...does this mean something?

Ok..
On fridaynight i had a dream about my brother who is in the army, i dreamt that whilst he was away at base, he got injured, the dream was a blur, but got me up and i woke my boyfriend up because the dream upset me. I thought about my brother alot that night, and had similar dreams on saturday night. On sunday night we got a call from my brother from a hospital, a person out of his rank had smashed a pint glass in his face, he lost 2 litres of blood, suffered from shattered cheek bone with 2 fractures, and may need surgery to make the scarring less dominant. It has shook the family, and shook me, was i predicting what was going to happen to my brother? Im deeply saddened, expecially since he doesn't return home till the 5th. He wasn't even out fighting, yet got turned on by someone who was meant to be a friend.
Please advice.

The rise of China and India is fueling renewed debate about the distribution of costs and benefits from globalization. What are the arguments for and against free trade? To the extent that there are pressures on unskilled workers’ wages and progressively on the middle class, is protectionism a desirable response? What are the main counter-arguments? To what extent does the post- World War II bargain informing “embedded liberalism” continue to make sense?

I know I'm NOT ugly since i receive compliments from friends saying I'm pretty and cute and that I have a nice personality and lots of talents, but for some reason, I just can't see myself that way. I just picture myself as a loser in sports, ugly with my puffy hair, awkward with the clothes I wear, and I just don't see myself with anything special. Deep down, I know I'm probably NOT like that. I always want to be like something else and I know there's no such thing as being perfect, but lately, I feel like I'm not good enough and I want to be different and my mom thinks I have a low self esteem. Am I being too judgemental on myself? I don't understand why I'm feeling this way.
