Ive read alot of new paper atricles about Hillary Clinton and her "womans power" being put into her Presidential Campain. But I dont really agree with any of her campain propaganda.I dont feel she will deliver the things she promises. But I almost feel obligated to vote for her,for president because shes a woman.I'm all for woman empowerment, but I dont want to vote for her.
Does sex diversify this campain,or should I go with my gut feeling and vote for a man?

Dont get me wrong.I'm not trying to say she would make a bad president because of the things she might do,or not do.I just dont want to feel like I'm letting down women kind by not voting for a women for president.

How is voting for her just because she is a woman any different from NOT voting for her just because she is a woman?

If she shouldn't be president on her merits alone, it will not be a benefit for women if she wins. What kind of a model would that be?

You do not have to vote for Hillary just because she is a woman and it would be HUGE for women to have a woman president (really you don't). Your job as a citizen is to vote for the candidate you feel will do the best job and you feel best represents your views and beliefs. Voting for her simply because she is a women would be discriminatory toward her, the other candidates and ultimately the entire country.

Since Bill was absolutely the worst Presiden ever, I feel Hillary will be the same.
I am curious what the States would be like if a woman became President; I am also curious what the States would be like if Obama becomes President. None of the contenders are the "typical American".
I do not pay much attention to campaigns; I go with what the candidate stands for.

What politician ever keeps a promise? They promise what they think you want to hear then go about business as they see fit. It is more important to look at what they have done as that is a better definition of what they will do. Likewise I don't think it is right to vote based on gender. You have to vote for the person you can most closely align yourself with.

My impression from the outside looking in is that Obama seems to have a vision and Hillary just wants to be President.
There are plenty of female leaders in the world already, you don't need to vote for her to prove anything.

I normally say that the most important thing is that you vote....but I am a woman and I admit that I was tempted to vote for Hillary because of the woman thing BUT I won't now she does not represent my values so I would just be the dummy.

My advice is to vote for the person who you think will be the best leader for the country. Identity politics be damned. You can be for female empowerment without voting for her. It just means that you aren't a reactionary.

Just vote for the person you think will do the best job, she may well be calling on "woman's power" just don't forget most politicians will say whatever it takes to get into power.

You need to study the issues and where each candidates stands on them and then decide who you think will take the country in the direction you feel it should go. As simple as that. Don't let gender or race cloud your choice.

If you are voting a person because of her gender, equal opportunity would fail.
