In reality, I'm quite small. Not REALLY small, and I don't feel that small as a person, I'm just quite a petite lady and I won't grow any bigger.

Anyway so, I dreamt I was tall. I think I was wearing a dress I actually own and some of my sisters high heels, looking quite glamorous (which is a never for me because I'm quite tomboy) but yeah, I was really noticeably taller and towering over my friends.

What does this mean?

Let me just say that I've been married close to 17 years, and I love my husband very much. Well, I did back when we got hitched, anyhow.
I've never really thought anything sexual about the women I meet in real life, but lately, when my hubby proceeds to the matin' process, I start fantasizing about Little Debbie.
I know that this might mean I'm a lesbian, which isn't so bad, but I'm so worried it might make me a pedophile, too! I mean, Little Debbie looks like she's about 8 years old, but her delicious snack cakes have been tempting me for almost 4 decades!

What are your thoughts on the following statement?

"From the time she starts, girls are encouraged and favoured by the 80% plus female teachers. Boys are left to their own ends to struggle through an unfriendly anti-male environment. all the way through the educational system, they are subjected to anti-male propaganda and discouraged from pursuing high academic achievement as they favour females only. the majority of university students are women, as all universities have clearly demonstrated, they favour female applicants."

I was reading up on discrimination and stereotyping and was wondering, as a 4th or 5th generation italian-american, whether anyone knows of, or has experienced discrimination against italian-americans in either workplace or community settings; i know that crude stereotypes of italian-americans still persist, many centering around the culturally constructed image of the mafioso; yet, besides these, does discrimination exist anywhere in the united states, to any significant extent, against italians?

In real life i was talking to this guy who tried to lure me then started emotionally abusing me. I come in to contact with him sometimes and i always think if i should talk to him again or try again but always hold back.

Last night I had a dream that i met him and his family. His whole family was messed up and him and his brother were both crazy. They killed/stabbed people for fun and even stabbed a guy in front of me. We were around a pool and they were sitting around it and one got up and stabbed this guy in the stomach in front of me like on a stage near the pool.

i ended up trying to win his approval 'like in real life' , i was ignoring these nice guys who were trying to be wtth and ended up almost dying- woke up when knife was going in or he was trying to stab me to death

I had a dream he shot me before this an i was close to death but didnt die that time.

i was pleading for him not to kill me, use my hands get all bloodied to stop his knife frmo entering woke up.

For years I had recurring dreams of my childhood sweetheart. It would always be the same dream where we were sitting, and talking... One night, he came to me again, said he had to go, and walked away. I never dreamed of him again. I later found out that he'd died around that time. How can that be explained?

In what way do in-kind transfers affect the measured poverty rate?

A. In-kind transfers are usually given to families living above the poverty line and therefore don't help alleviate poverty.

B. Since in-kind transfers increase the volatility of the life cycle, they increase the measured number of families living below the poverty line.

C. If in-kind transfers were included in income, the measured number of families living below the poverty line would decrease.

Just like everyone.

To lie here and die among the sorrows, drift among the days.

Do you know the distance to the sun? Do you know the echo that is love? Can a taste of love be so wrong? Do you know the solitude of heart?

Are you meant for this world?

Feminism strives for female independence from men such that women don't depend on men as their financial providers. Suppose for a moment that, per Mike T's question, that feminism is unnatural. Namely that women innately yearn for a provider, whether they claim to or not. What happens when, because of feminism, that provider is not there? Who then becomes the provider?

I notice that women overhwhelmingly seem to support nationalized health care (which is a communist-like control of 12% of the American economy). The justification more often than not seems to be some sense of communal caring...A desire to be "taken care of", if you will.

Is the political position that so many women take on health care a result of this desire to be cared for combined with a sense that they are not financially being taken care of on a personal level? Is communism the "natural" goal (or at least end-result) of feminism?

So many people in todays world are strung out on many various Psychiatric medications. They go to many different Doctors and try many different variations of Psych drugs. They get on them and off of them with a drop of a hat, only making them worse instead of better. Why have so many people put faith in a pill instead of God. They not only hurt themselves, but many innocent others... Parents are the real culprits of this abuse of Psych medications. If there child becomes a problem take them to a Psych Facility and put them on Prescritpion Drugs!!!! I have a child that was diagnosed with an ADHD and bipolar diagnosis the Doctors wanted to string him out on medications, but they only made him something else, not my son.... We turned to God and put our trust in him, and we came across a Doctor that decided to do a Cat Scan and found that he had an Arachnoid Cyst that was causing his problems. We had him prayed for and we believed and he is an Honor Student, no MEDS just love.

I would like to be able to look at things, people, and situations in a purely objective manner. However, I'm wondering if this is at all possible, since whether we like it or not, our thoughts tend to be colored by our emotions.
