I dont try to act aggressive, or be loud, i try not to be an A**h*le, I dont think that I have to be the best at everything, And i am happy w/ my height at 5'2".

Some people tell me I have Napoleon Complex b/c I like taller women, I try to force myself to be attracted to women shorter than me, but i never find them attractive. I dont care how we look together, i mean somebody has to be taller, if my woman was taller i would let her wear high-heels if she wanted.

this are the questions: why do you think of someone who doesn't think of you? why do you care for someone who doesn't care for you? why do you love someone who doesn't love you?

i noticed this strange look with two guys already. hard to describe it; it was not warm and pleasant (it actually felt a little bit "evil") but rather deep and curious but not in a loving/romantic way. anyways, i liked them both but i guess they just didn't feel the same, right, :) basically, i'd like to know what they felt at that time if anything cause it was interesting. ps) by the way i'm a girl and they're not homosexual. thanx

IT seems people don't take their words very seriously these days. They continually make excuses for why they didn't call or show up or write or whatever. We have every means of communication now, yet people seem to have more difficulty communicating. Why?

I want to write a thesis about Capital Punishment. I would like to prove that race and economic status do influence public support for capital punishment. What do you think of this topic? Will my research be bias? Will I be able to prove this? Please give me some feedback and suggestion.

I am a graduate student. Unfortunately, the MPA program at my university does not emphasize on research---they focus on exams and application. I am just want to do an independence study on how to write a thesis. The professor said, "Okay, they will help me. Before picking the topic--- I want your suggestion.

Please help. Thank you very much for your kindness.
Sorry for the poor grammar--English is my second language.

I just responded to a question and was reminded of the repeated claims of physically attractive women getting promoted to higher positions and getting more pay. This makes sense for a job at Hooters, but how many think this is a reality in the professional business world?

Here is the original question that included the claim:

I hate everything. I have this feeling all the time, I guess I'm just good at hiding my feelings, but when things come up I realize how unhappy I am. The only thing that makes me happy is my friends and realizing how much they care about me. The number one thing that always makes me depressed and reminds me of how sad I am within is my family. I don't talk to them about anything, because theres really no trust between us. I always get these suicidal thoughts too. I just don't know what to do anymore. And I'm not very open about my emotions, so no I won't talk to anyone about this. Can you help cheer me up?

A lot of people get aggressive when I say something about their stereotyping ideas. I don't like stereotpying and I correct those who do but they never admit and say that I overreact and THEN explain things to me which I don't need to know. Why is it that they are trying to convince me when they clearly generalized thereby stereotpying the problem from the start? I don't understand why people need to defend themselves like that. They clearly did not explain the issue before and then says that I misinterpret things which there was nothing much said about before. Why do people mistaken me all the time? I was just trying to say that they should not generalize things because it's not always true.

Do you ever sense as society(both men and woman), we now have an extremely warped sense of entitlement...we want everything, but with very little work. Careers are now based on the "fun-factor"(another reason our middle-class is going 86, since grad's coming out of school are finding their phoo-phoo degree's are worthless).

I guess 'Thou shall not steal' is a one-way street, in our "progressive" society. It's OK if I steal, just DON'T steal from me...does that work for you?

When I sit down I am constantly, and unconsciously, bouncing one or more of my legs up and down on my toes. When I try to stop, all I can think about is the tension in my legs and how I am trying to not move my legs anymore. I do this even when I am alone but this makes me look insecure in social situations and it's pissing me off quite frankly. Has anyone experienced this and have a solution? I am 5" 6 and 160 lbs if that's important. Thanks
