Hooha is Not a real word. Vagina and vulva are. They are not bad words. Do you Really want your children to think that they are?

ok I mean using real words in what should be a serious discussion or post. For example asking a question in Womens Health.

Do you understand me now?

First of all, the fact that someone uses one word does not indicate that they never use another.

Second, if a word is used and understood by enough people, it is a real word. Our language evolves.

Third, I agree that sometimes the use of one word can misleadingly suggest that another word is somehow inappropriate. That is not always the case however.

Fourth, the richness of our language permits a range of expressive possibilities and learning to use words appropriately in a given context is the mark of an adept speaker or writer, whether the context be clinical, poetic, erotic, humorous, practical, or what have you.

I do believe in using anatomical terminology when instructing children about their anatomy, but euphemisms can be amusing as well.

And just as I would not expect to see "dewy-petaled orchid" used to to describe a woman's anatomy in a gynecological text, I would also not ask a lover whether she enjoyed direct penile stimulation of her anterior fornix.

The only time I used the P word was to other men and as an Insult. In my day we never sat around talking about her vagina things just happened naturally without much talk.
I see your point !

Yes it's ridiculous but it's very amusing to make them blush by saying the appropriate words or saying them.

Repeat after me "penis, penis, penis. Vagina, vagina, vagina"

EDIT: if you really look at it, you don't always feel like saying vagina or penis. Sometimes you just wanna call it a dick. And personally, I'd pick p*ssy of "gash" or "c*nt" any day. It's relatively harmless and honestly I've heard few people say it in an insulting manner. meanwhile gash just makes it sound like the vagina exists solely because someone took a sharp knife to your crotch.

I think people use other words because of the humor associated with that word. And using a clinical term for a body part is just that, too clinical.

Sigy I got love for you and all, but PLEASE don't make everybody use the same language. I don't want to waste time on getting to know the person if I can just eliminate them by their initial choice of words.
