Why? Why not? Is it actually, scientifically possible? What do you think?

Yes, because the way you feel sets the tone of how you behave. If you feel you love the person directly when you first see them, then you're going to behave lovingly in that manner towards them until you get stimulous to do otherwise - which most often happens after you get together and learn all the tics and antics of the person, and they become too familiar and almost irritating. Most often I find love at first sight an explanation to why they're together. It's a normal phrase. A cliche almost. It's scientifically possible to be strongly attracted to someone by the way they're behaving and look. Most often that's what someone's really saying when they say it was love at first sight.

Yes I believe in love at first sight but I also know that too many times men and women take lust for love at first sight!!
It is rare in the billions of men and women here on earth to find love at first sight but it does happen. When it does the one who falls into this delicious state had best serve his/her love in wee doses at first. Otherwise you can repel the object of your affections.
Love at first sight should be recognized as such and not a lust, when it is recognized the one in love has to romance the other to the point where they are just as smitten with you, as you are with them.

I believe in infatuation at first sight... but I believe love takes a deeper understanding and knowing between two people than can be achieved at a glance.

No, I believe a person has to know someone before they can really love them. They may be attracted to them or lust for them at first sight but that's completely different.

no 'cause we're just struck to see someone so handsome or something....maybe it's scientifically possible that it's a malfunction of the brain cells to say we're in love...
