Social Science - 15 March 2007

My mammaws house is haunted! I am not joking, everytime I stay there I hear foot steps, doors open and shut, lights go on and off by theirself, and other stuff, when you go to sleep, everyone frequently wakes up because of noises, and you sometimes feel something touch you! I have checked some stuff out on http://www.hollowhill.com to try and get rid of the ghost, this is no joke it is seriously haunted. WHAT CAN I DO TO GET RID OF THIS?

seriously when people ask questions unrelated to god they dont want to hear any answers like, try praying, or find jesus. and (drug topics especially) we dont need people judging others' questions by their flawed moral/religious standard. also if you dont have personal experience about something (like drugs) keep your opinion to yourself, for you know nothing of the topic.

There are some men who would like to be naked in front of women reporters but there are other men like myself who may have a nice body but dont want to expose ourselves to women we dont feel uncomfortable to. The problem I have is that when some male athletes complained about this people including women are quick to say that they he is a homosexual or that he should not mind or enjoy being in the nude in front of women. However, with women athletes there seemed to be a much higher level of respect for their privacy. Why is that?

It seems like there are two types of brilliant people out there: the dreamers and the realists.

The realists can perfect tasks by being given a set of criteria to work toward. They look at things objectively, and tend to look for 'correct' solutions according to others' invented guidelines. The dreamers come up with the criteria. They follow no guidelines but their emotions, and are less concerned with pleasing others.

Maybe I'm biased here, but it seems like a dreamer can easily espouse realist attributes by forcing an external view on their actions- ie "what would other people think of this?"

But what can a realist do to become more emotion-driven? Besides abuse recreational drugs.

My advisor uses SAS, I have never used it. Excel limits amount of variables (columns) so I had to set up multiple excel files (4 to be exact). How could I merge all excel files into one master SAS file and keep the variable names? As of now, I have imported 4 excel files, I want to combine them, while keeping them in order.

Today's news: "Fourteen pages of the commission's report are dedicated to brief descriptions by family members of reasons these women committed suicide. Most are because of rape, beatings and accusations against their honor. None of the dead women or their relatives are named in the report. The mother of a victim in Badghis is quoted saying that her daughter committed self-immolation because her fiance accused her of getting pregnant by another man and would not accept the child as his own. The mother of another victim said that her daughter was actually a victim of domestic violence although it was portrayed by others as a suicide. "They beat my daughter a lot, then they poured fuel on her and said that she committed self-immolation," the mother says. She did not give details of the attackers.

And she's got time, in between shopping on Rodeo Drive to ask AMERICANs what WE are doing for "women's empowerment" on Yahoo.. when Arabic women are devasted to incredible degrees by Islam?
