No way....wave away and don't be self-conscious all it's saying is hello. Anyway, just be happy he waved back cause he could have ignored you and even worse turned his back on you. So, don't give yourself reasons to worry... Plus...........

If you are the one with the crush and you wave to him then, no, it is not uncool. You're making yourself noticeable and that's not a bad thing, that shows confidence. It's a beautiful thing when young people have confidence in themselves. If he does not feel the same way then don't take it personally. Just because someone is "cute" does not mean they are even a good person. He may be self-centered. He may have waved in a girly way because he knows you have this crush on him and he is letting you know by doing this. If this is the case then, so what. He knows!

You shouldn't care about the way you express your self. You shouldn't care about what is cool or not. When you care about what other people think about your actions is just a clue that you feel insecure. And that is not cool!
