Impliicit in Berger's argument is the idea that those who are content with the status quo may not be as able to acquire a sociological perspective.

I think that what Berger meant was that people who are content with the "status quo" already have a sociological perspective, i.e. a functionalist perspective.

They rarely change their narrow view of the world and are not willing to listen to nor to understand the ideas of others.

No, as people with IQ's above 110 have trouble acquiring a sociological perspective.

No I dont agree with that. the people who are content may to look at the situation, evaluate it, and deside there is no need express any opinions as a strategy avoiding a debate.They tend to aquire a silent perspective in that way.
If this want true how came the people who are best of do so much efforts to have the situation unchanged? they are not "naive"...
Be silent is also a sort of communication.

The status quo eventually changes. Nothing lasts forever. They'll get their perspective soon enough.
