Today's news: "Fourteen pages of the commission's report are dedicated to brief descriptions by family members of reasons these women committed suicide. Most are because of rape, beatings and accusations against their honor. None of the dead women or their relatives are named in the report. The mother of a victim in Badghis is quoted saying that her daughter committed self-immolation because her fiance accused her of getting pregnant by another man and would not accept the child as his own. The mother of another victim said that her daughter was actually a victim of domestic violence although it was portrayed by others as a suicide. "They beat my daughter a lot, then they poured fuel on her and said that she committed self-immolation," the mother says. She did not give details of the attackers.

how you're able to do common, uncomplicated, on line study. All you mandatory to do became enter "Queen Rania" into Google with a view to verify the place she is from. in case you won't be in a position to do such effortless study, you would be in fairly some hassle sooner or later. you could, after all, have got here upon her respected internet site and bios for her on countless sites.

Unless the article stipulated that these women are all muslim, not sure how you would know that. Presuming things arent a good policy to go by,
I wont lie, there are alot of social problems that Jordan could and should work on, but they are tied to lack of education and cultural issues, more so than religion.

Well, how does complaining about what Queen Rania is doing helping the situation at all? It is only the human right to err and to be imperfect. It cannot be expected of anyone to be perfect in everything they partake, including an issue such as this. How will we ever empower women further by saying someone is a hypocrit and yet we're not doing anything ourselves to help the situation? At Least she has taken some action, but her cause will get nowhere if you continue to look for reasons shes not qualified to ask anyone that. No doubt she isn't jesus, neither is anyone on this good earth, but she is still taking action, so i respect her for that.

We've all got problems, and no one can be expected to be perfect. And what does Rodeo Drive have to do with the issue at all? The world is full of NIMBYs... no one wants to address the problems in their own backyard.
