i dont like peopel telling me what to do. if they´re my boss and theyre paying me, well its yes sir, yes ma´am, you bet! but if its a peer who tries to tell me to clean up the ktichen or something (when i dont consider it dirty), i think they shodul get off my back. if they think its not clean enough, they can clean ti themselves. when i do get the urge to clean (which yes, i do) , i just clean i dont check the fridge to see whose turn it is to clean. dear god so many rules and regulations! i´m living currently in a shared apt with a veterinarian and a pharmacy student, i cant stand sharing space with them, and i dont like their idea that the place has to be cleaned once a week! i wnat to move out and get some peace and quiet. what you think?

My sister woke me up at 1 am last night freaking out because someone sent her an email with pictures of a car crash. This porsh was demolished and the girl inside was unidentifiable. In 2 words.....skull crushed. She was going about 100 mph.
This may be a dumb question but she's really messed up by this picture and can't stop thinking about it. She keeps asking me what should she do to stop thinking about it. She even drove 15 miles under the speed limit all the way to work this morning. I told her to talk about something else and do things to keep her mind off of it. She said she couldn't stop thinking about it.
Any suggestions on what to tell her to stop freaking out? Her nerves are shot. She's sick to her stomach. She shouldn't have looked. She knew she couldn't handle it before she even saw the entire picture but looked anyway.

I'm definately not confused about all this as it's obvious whats going on here. However, I would like to address at least one particular incident.

A member named "Quilm" posted an obvious rape scenario, (which he tried to romanticise), and then asked for feed back as to whether it consituted rape. Quilm knows it was rape. Period. After telling him off, I reported him. Instead of deleting HIS contents, Yahoo erased mine and emailed me a violation notice. That, clearly, is sick.
Also, he sent me a personal email stressing his BSDM fetish and his penchant for hookers. This obviously constitutes harassment.
In one of his posts he suspects he is a sadist as he wanted to know why he got off making his girlfriend cry.
I've read several of his posts which clearly outline that he is a true cyber bully. Still, Yahoo ignores this and penalizes the people who want to prevent abuse. Not ONE of my reports have been addressed by Yahoo and abusers are permitted to roam free

I think that new Burger King commercial is sexist; I'm not a feminist; but I can eat that burger! I sure as hell don't eat that little. Even if I was on a diet, I would never eat that small portion of food that they showed.

i don't know much about economics, frankly i don't really understand it.

I am a social conservative, born-again Christian, anti-illegal immigrant and pro-military. But i am lower-middle class. alot of what i have heard about the republicans economic views is that the favor the upper classes.

so what view should i embrace as a conservative and supporter of our president but also as someone who is lower middle class ?

I had a dream about my grandma who passed away about 5 years ago. In my dream she was passed away too. In the dream I has found a book and in the last section of the book it was a little note to me and it said something like "congrats on your graduation and I'll be at your wedding". She had dies my senior year of high school and I'm getting married in 7 months. We were always very close. What do ya think this could mean?

Going back to the origins of the organization and the like organizations it appears that their primary function is to loan impossibly un-payable amounts of money to developing nations...using hugely over-ambitious growth statistics, then demand that they sell their souls to Western corporations and development companies when they cannot make the payments...
Am I so wrong here?

I am an Asian and I was born in America. When I was one and a half years old, my dad died from leukemia. I am the only child. We shifted to Canada on my Grandma's advice. My mom became scdzopheraniac (I don't know how to spell it). She lost her job which was the main source of our income and I spent 2 years with nice foster parents. My uncle didn't prove to be such a support. My mom remarried but it was a catastrophie. She fought her case and our only choice was to come back to mom's homeland. I was 9 years old when I came to this backward and remote country. I am suffering since then and now i am 15 years old. I hate this country and want to go back to US or Canada. But my mom, She fights with my grandparents and she hates her sister; my aunt who loves me alot. Due to her illness, she is sort of depressed. I don't know what to do to help her and the family? She hears imaginary voices and believes them. Due to these voices, I am facing lot of problems. Help me please!

I am a American living in England and I think it is the most unreal expensive mess. My wife and I barely get by each month because of the cost. Living in the states (texas) was almost half the cost of living over here. We live in overdraft every month and in the states it never happened in my lifetime. Everything is overpriced like housing, petrol, food, eating out ect. I can see why everyone here is so pissed off.

Seriously my skin is white and my ancestor's came from Europe (Spain), just like ALL white people at one time or another (Europe). Yet people say I'm not white since I know Spanish!!! Why are people so ignornant and stupid in this country? I guess that is what happens when only 30% of the people over 25 in this country have a college degree......uneducated collective!!! I have white skin, ancestors are from Europe...how am I not white?

I worry about everything. I guess I make a mountain out of mole hills over things that are out of my control. But, then when I am happy about something I talk about it a lot, too. I know there has to be a balance between the two and to not let things get to me. I know other people go through the same thing. It is how we let it affect us.

There are less women in high political positions and economic positions as men and they tend to be underpaid but aren't men equally discriminated on a whole.
1. Men are required to sign up for selective service.
2. There have been many cases of women such as debra lafave and mary kay letourneau who slept with younger boys that received lighter sentences than if they were male
3. Women less likely to be sentenced to the death penalty.
4. Child custody and divorce laws favoring women more than men.
So even though women may be discriminated in the workforce arent men equally discriminated equally as a whole?
