i mean we can only become better people by examining ourselves not others and more likeable and nicer

Yes, I usually examine myself when I ask myself is this the best I can do ?

I examine myself too much. Pretty much whenever I'm not actively engaged in some type of task, my thoughts shift to introspection. I think about how I could have said or done something better. I think about the impression that I left on someone and how I can make better impression. I think about and revise my goals in life. It can lead to self improvement, yeah, but it also involves a lot of self-doubt and second guessing. I would probably be a lot happier, though more superficial, if I could just stop my introspection and think happy thoughts.

Every second of every day we make unconscious and conscious decisions about who we are, and put forward those decisions in thought, word and deed. By examining ourselves we are only seeking to figure out why others don't like or appreciate who we REALLY are. Then we choose a course to "change" or re-represent ourselves to be better accepted (loved).

do you mean breast self exam? if so, everyday but i try not to compare with other people´s.
