who can't see the good in others in any way and always need attention,deep down insecure?I know one,but she can be a sweet girl sometimes and she is pretty on top of that.Why is she like this?She can't seem to stand the sight of someone better.

Im apparently extremely negative and moody?? I hate who I am most of the time and I hate being alone. Occasionally think dumb thoughts....highly irrational things. Ive been told I most likely have a chemical imbalance....plaese help !!

Face it, we have quite a situation on hand...

Too many leaders are making too many close minded decisions that aren't in the best interest of anybody

Too many people blindly put their faith in these leaders and see the world through the media

Too many of the people who take a stance against this are just as close midned and reckless as the leaders that perpetuate the major problems in the world

Will people wake up or will we just continue to annihilate humanity and the world around us?

Teaching alcoholism?
I was wondering if anyone knew of anything activitys I could do with a classroom dealing with the disorder know as alcoholism, is there food i could cook, games i could play, anything to get the crowd i am speaking to invovlved in my descusion. I am 17 and this is for my psy class. I am open to any ideas, anything to make it more interesting. Maybe role playing or w.e :-)

Try and make sure it somewhat maybe has something to do with drinking, ohhh and it has to be appropriate

I have been told that about 85% of the things that come out of my mouth ....are negative!! I know that I can dwell on the negative but I really really cant tell when Im being like that. I need help to think positive!! Any hints tips ANYTHING would help a bunch!!! Thanks.

My interest is social/cultural anthropolgy and I want to become a teacher of anthropolgy so more schooling will be necessary. Also, I read at one grad school that proficiency in foreign language would be helpful and actually required.

When you see something or a thought of something (i.e a weird looking man on TV) or something which is weird or very out of the ordinary and very unusual, you get this disturbing feeling where you really stare, you shiver, you feel "pins and needles" in your head, it makes you repetitively look at it or think about it and it strongly lures your attention to it...and it makes you constantly wonder about it. Its not so disturbing when you have i.e music on, but it when everythings silent and the lights are off etc, gives more of that disturbing feeling? What is that feeling and why does it give you that feeling?

all my life i've had crushes on boys, never on girls..i've dated a lot of guys, and some were fufilling, some werent, but i notice i always get so insecure in the relationship, about the guy leaving me or finding some one better that i almost push them away without realizing it, and now im wondering if its my subconscious telling me that im lesbian or something? or if that means something. I had a very bad childhood experience with my dad leaving me when i was 7, so i dont know if that has to do with the whole insecurity thing, but now im wondering if i wanted these boys in my life to date or to play that fatherly figure, but i dont know, i dont see why i would wnat to pursue a romantic relatonship with them if that was the case?

its really been freaking me out the most lately, im currently with my boyfriend of almost 2 years, and its been kind of rocky since this whole ocd has struck me..but today we had a fight and he said something like "you act like your obligated to have sex"

you have been decieved and devalued by someone you trusted. My ex, I feel, completely manipulated me when we were together, told me all the things I wanted to hear and used me for emotional support when he was feeling SEVERLEY depressed, only to leave me for someone else and then acted as though we never existed. Who does this ?? He is 29 yrs old, well educated, a teacher. Not only did he leave me to be with this other girl, he spoke negatively about me when I did nothing but be there for him. We never fought when we were together. What type of guy is he?? IS he a manipulator? Now I feel low, have no self esteem, I feel I didnt deserve this from him. How do I cope?

My sister and I are in high school. She is a sophomore and I am a senior. I tend to get along with everybody at school and can befriend any body I feel like talking too. My sister on the other hand has a really rough time making friends. She has no problem talking to people, but when it comes to actually making friends, she's hopeless. People come to me and tell me how we are exactly the same, but they like me more. My sister is exactly like me, except for some reason, less personable and less likeable. It's almost like she hasn't developed her own personality, is it possible? Or is this some weird twist on a social anxiety disorder?
