I have been in a war, been shot at and seen friends killed right in front of me. That experience probably changed me more than anything else. That and almost dying after a head on car crash. I think the best thing I can tell you is to never take your life for granted. Don't let others influence you to do things that aren't really "you". Make your own way and follow your dreams and goals. Live this day to the fullest and let your past be past. Concentrate on the things you can do to get where you want to be in your life. You are responsible for your decisions and actions. Learn to forgive yourself and others. Never let others opinions of you change who you are. Remember that when things happen to disappoint you that nothing lasts forever and tomorrow is a new day to start all over again. Have patience and hold onto your faith in yourself. Good things happen when you least expect it. Good luck to you. I hope this helps some.

Do the right thing and try to evaluate yourself whether you are right. Some times the thing you do may not be acceptable to others. there is no thing that is right or wrong. It is the [perception of the individual. We have to see to that the decision what ever we are taking should not affect others knowingly or unknowingly.
Life is full of lesson everyday. It is a good experience to have right and wrong thing and experiencing it. It cannot be always happy or sorrow.
Observe the life and take it the way it takes you.

You are extremely wise to ask this question.
But even better, you should learn to become wise enough that you don't need to depend on others for the answers to how you should live your life. If you depend on others for these answers, you will never feel safe, secure, confident, happy - or successful. Other people are not you, and can never be you - they can never know what is really best and right for you. You have your own passions, talents, dreams, strengths, potentials, etc, that you will have to discover for yourself - inside you. Self-understanding is vital.
My advice is that when in doubt (and even when not in doubt), listen to your 6th sense, or "inner voice". Listen to Your Self. This voice, as well as your mind, heart, soul, and body, are the greatest assets you will ever have - not your money, resume, possessions, etc. Cultivate these assets well. They are the source of your life, and you will need them to do, have, and be whatever you decide.

mine was being a road musician, and thats probably what you should stay away from and not do. it depends on your definition of success, happiness and love are dismissed to often. most go for the material things, when in the long run, it really doesnt matter. what ever makes you happy, you do. others will try and tell you the paths to go, the ones they wanted to and didnt, but they are them and you are you. try just living life and having fun. if you are content with yourself, everything else will fall into place.

Oooh, I could go on about THIS for hours! But let's see...
- Don't drink (or if you must, do so in moderation)...
- Don't smoke (it's poison)...
- WAIT to have children (Planned Parenthood gives out damn-near-free birth control - USE it!)
- Stay in school. Yeah, it's a tedious, boring pain in the ***, but so is being unemployable.
- When it comes to men, be suspicious and cynical at first. The game players will head for the hills and the genuine guys will be what's left.
Hope this helps.

Well, getting married, having kids, moving to the country, moving back to the city, then overseas, well, they all rate high. But the biggest and best life experience ever is meeting Jesus. I highly recommend it.

Honestly, my biggest life experience was getting to know someone for who they truly were and allowing them to get to know me fully too. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT-- Treat people the way you want to be treated. If you want to be successful in life, follow the golden rule because everyone wants to be treated with dignity and respect.
