Last night I wondered whether I'll live to be here the next morning. It sounds crazy, but I kept falling asleep and then waking up really scared, feeling like I had fallen into death. I was feeling as if I was in-between life and death, and kept thinking I must keep awake in order to stay alive. Any ideas? Finally I got asleep somehow and didn't wake up again scared and gasping for life...

I had this dream last night that my husband had a heart attack whilst at work and died before I could get to the hospital.

He is at work now and I have been at home in tears this morning thinking about it. It just made me think what would I do without him. How would I tell the children.

I know my husband has a bad heart and was told he probably would not live past 30. He is 35 now. Do you think I had this dream because I am subconciously thinking about it all the time. Or do you think it maybe a warning to prepare myself!!

It's left me feeling really paranoid and I keep expecting the phone to ring. The dream was so vivid!!!

Please help!! I need advice. Genuine answers please!!

Strange question? A friend of mine asked me this. People always say ‘exercise and eat right so you may live longer’…why? I know it’s said that it is basic human instinct to want to live longer but what about those people who commit suicide? Do they not have a basic instinct also? And what about those people who hate their lives, why do they go on?

This isn’t related to my personal life, just questions I was pondering on today….

Sorry, I know it’s a depressing question….positive answers welcome!

What do you mean about ASTROLOGY? Today, in this world partially people believe about the concept of Astrology as 9 Grahas and Rasi and Lucknam and so on.

What my doubt is, i have seen a elder sister in my relative and while she had seen an astrologer and asked something about her marriage. The astrologer answered to her query in the following form."if you will marriage a guy who belongs to lower caste then your marriage life will be better and long living one or if you will marriage a guy who belongs to your caste then you will be widow after the marriage as quickly.i.e.,your marriage life will not be long living one."

Is it right? our astrology is conditional one?

i think that it is lie because our fate or astrology terms are already fixed to us while we are having a birth and it would not have been changed as "this or that condition".

Am I right? Please read the details patiently and answer to me...

Four students from your economics class are sitting in a local restaurant discussing the market for coffee.
Below are quotes from each of the four students. Which quote contains incorrect economic analysis?
a. John: \If Brazil is hit hard by such a severe freeze that half of its crop is wiped out, then the price
of coffee will probably rise."
b. Paul: \If the price of caffeinated soft drinks such as Mountain Dew went down, then consumer
demand for coffee would go down since they're substitutes for each other."
c. Erin:If coffee drinkers expect the price of coffee to rise next month, then current demand will go
up and lead to a price increase this month."
d. Amanda: \If the demand for coffee were to increase, then I would expect the price to rise, which
would then cause the demand to fall back down to its original position."
e. none of the above. All of the quotes contain correct economic analysis.

I've taken on a job, albeit temporary, from a woman who's working in another dept who also is a temporary and I've just asked her one question about where something is, seeing as she was working here before me last week. I am surrounded by yellow folders on this desk (about 15) and I asked her if she'd seen something I was on the lookout for. She said, "Can you see a yellow folder on your desk?" I answered, "Well yes, there are loads". She then said aggressively, "Look, you're not listening to what I'm saying". So what did I do so wrong?

Imagine a production possibilities frontier for a country. One axis of the graph measures the total quantity of investment goods, which are goods that are used in production. Examples might include
factory buildings, delivery trucks, and metal stamping presses used on assembly lines. The other axis shows the quantity of consumer goods such as groceries, appliances, clothing, and transportation services that the country produces. Indicate which of the following changes would cause an outward shift in this
country's production possibilities frontier.

My story is set in the early Victorian era.
There is a 19 year old girl named Anne. Since she was a child, she was teased often because of her mother, who was rather too spirited, too honest...just a woman far from being a conventional lady. ANyways, Anne's father hated Anne's mother, and Anne, though she loved her mother, was embarrassed of her.
Anne was born a spirited and romantic girl, but because of having witnessed people treating her mother inferiorly, Anne has suppressed her true character and hid behind a social mask. So, my question is, how would she act in public? Would she be shy, perhaps? Or cold and always composed? And how can I show in my story of how inconvenient it is to act like the lady you are not? And what can the problems me that she comes across due to her having suppressed her true character?

Be creative ;)

rather than specifically focusing on intellectual attainment.

shouldnt kids be rewarded and encouraged for things other than the intellect.

isnt forcing kids to compare themselves with others all the time a destructive thing that will lead to conceit in some and a feeling of failure or inferiority in others.

should kids also learn through activities that get them to help co-operate and share with others.

maybe im behind the times and stuff like this is already happening.
what do you think?

envy greed etc.

is rapacious capitalism one?

or is t.v rotting peoples morality?

what about the influence of seedy squalid newspapers?

are we giving our kids the wrong type of education?

what about scandal/gossip mags that make people compare themselves unfavourably with what the rich and famous have got.

is advertising becoming more pernicious, and making us feel like we never have enough of the good things in life.

are banks fanning the corruption with their easy lending rules, turning youngsters into me me me..now now now impatient selfish people?

something has obviously been having a corrosive effect down the decades to make recent generations less considerate...surely it is not beyond our brightest minds to discover exactly what.

if it is a combination of the above...ie many causes...what can we do to reverse the trend?
