This isn't a homework question like most of the questions on here. It's just something I was thinking about. It seems to me like gas would be relatively close to a perfect competition situation... homogenious product; many buyers and sellers; etc. I can see stations near the highway charging more because people are lazy, but how to gas stations that are right across the street from each other get away with differing prices?

simple who is better at moment, no eqaul aloud you must distinguish between the two and also where do you think this argument would stand in say 50 years?
im looking for opinion. currently athleticaly men have the edge and woman i feel only slightly have the edge mentally. in 50 years however i think woman, becomin more independant and more like men, will overtake men in all fields, the hunter gatherer role of men can be vanquished in a few decades, maybe centuries.

The feminist claim that they want true equality but is that equality when it benefits them? For one they complain that women are discriminated in some executive jobs and salary in private firms but would not admit the fact that whenever a man report sexual harassment and domestic violence it is not taken lightly as a woman do. Women have also fought for the right to join the military and run for office on the grounds of equality. However, very few of them would use this principle to force the government to force them to sign up for selective service. Then the same can be said about duties. Women expect men to pay for the date because there are men but I bet those same women would not like it if that same man expected them to do all the cooking in the relationship because there are women.

I mean, come on. It is 2007, and ppl still haven't learned not to judge ppl b4 u know them. So many ppl I know are like, "Oh, she is evil cuz she practices wicca", "he is crazy b/c he is all about God", "She is black so she must like rap", "He he dresses emo so he must be a cutter". Even if all this is true, why does it matter? "I don't like gay ppl"- that makes me more angry than anything, when i hear that. Excuse me, but have u met every gay person in the world? Have u even sat down and got to know a gay person? What if i said "i don't like Jewish ppl", or "I don't like black ppl"- which isn't true at all, if i had said that i would be considered prejudice. Why can't everyone just get to know one another, get along, put aside their differences and have fun? Why must thousand and millions of ppl die just because they r different? I don't think i will ever understand.

I am reading it now and I am so sad for her. I hope that everything has worked out better in her life. She lives in the same city as I do (Dallas), though I have never met her.
