I have been looking at dyslexia websites and I have a lot of the symptoms. However, I'm really good at math. Does someone have to be bad at math to be dyslexic?

No. Dyslexia is simply a problem related to reading. Dysgraphia is a problem with writing. Dyscalculia is a problem with math. Typically, the only time a dyslexic person would have problems in math would occur when working on word problems.

Judging by your question, I would say you do not have dyslexia. People who don't know they are dyslexic typically spell and pronounce words incorrectly believing they are spelling and pronouncing them correctly. You spelt all of your words correctly, although you could have possibly used a spellchecker before submitting your question.

Actually, dislexia just refers to trouble with words and letters. Discalcula is the term used to describe those with mathematical dislexia.
