Dear Mr.Kunal,
Let me summarise your questions:
1)What’s the thing that matters a lot in life?........’a good career’ which ensures, occupation, status, position and the much needed money for living, leading a quality life,in this luxurious society of ours(capitalistic, consumerism oriented ,west dominated).
2) that makes us really feel dull? ‘Lack of any worthwhile achievement’
3)with out having any reason? ‘for every thing there is a cause’
The law of the world is governed by’cause and effect’ like ‘Newtons third law of gravity’
‘to every action ,there is an equal and opposite reaction’
May be we are unable to find the reason for certain events, issues but with out cause nothing will result.
4)If no.1 shown above is not alright, then the ‘mmod swing’ will occur either when you are alone or in a company or in a crowd.
Solution: You need to see that no.1 of yours is o.K.
Otherwise ,you need counseling of a psychiatrist.

WISH YOU GOOD LUCK AND WITH MY SINCERE PRAYERS!

Inferiority complex. When you are in a group, who are talking un-familiar topics and you can't take part in the conversation, then you will be prone to depression out of complex. When your colleagues secure best results and you are average, then too you feel lowered, because of complex. When you are alone this sort of things hover in your mind causing dullness. It is natural in every body's life. To be in a lively atmosphere help to regain natural mood.
