I often wonder why people worship and our so enamored with the hollywood stars when they are such bad examples of how to live properly. There marraiges end even before thier mattresses are broken in, they have babies outside of marraige and marraige is an opton, not a priority, they use thier promiscuity to rise to the top.
I look at the covers of these magazines and wonder why dont these "stars" get a life and realize life is not ALL about thier fame and thier fourtune? Why do people worship these typoes of people? What message does this tell our children and future generations?

Whenever I talk to my friends who are gay, they a lot of times speculate on other people who come up in the conversation (who sometimes even have a significant other of the opposite sex) as being gay. I would think it maybe has to do with being so attuned to reading other people's sexuality that gay people tend to do this, and also that its comforting to find 'comrades in arms'. What other reasons do you think contribute to this?

First you have all those horny teachers going wild for their male students.
Then you have that lady astro-nut wearing diapers and going bonkers for male attention.
Then you have an 84 year old lady going to prison for molesting an underage boy!
Then you have Nancy Pelosi and Hillaryous Clinton all wanting to lead America (and therefore run it to the ground).
Then you have Michele Wie wanting to dominate the male LPG, only to have Todd (male teenager) blow her away on his first try.
Then you have Britney Spears and Paris Hilton wearing no underwear and spreading their legs in public.

What's wrong with you ladies, don't you know having penis envy and trying to act like males will make you just as nutty as them?

If so what are you limits, I’m curious for the opinions people who consider them selves to be beautiful in the supermodel sense (and yes I know every one is beautiful and its all skin deep and all that stuff so don’t start ranting at me).
I want to know could you in you heart of hearts say you would?
What if they had skin with some sort of disease (not contagious) would you date them or if were severely disfigured. I want honest answers.I believe I could but I guess you cant know for sure until your in that situation.

Don't Be Sad
by Aaidh ibn Abdullah al-Qarni

Live life as it should be lived… wholesomely, happily and productively.

Do not expect gratitude from anyone

Many people are shocked at the nature of ingratitude in others, as though they had never come across this verse and others like it:

“ And when harm touches man, he invokes Us, lying down on his side, or sitting or standing. But when We have removed his harm from him, he passes on his way as if he had never invoked Us for a harm that touched him. (Quran, Surah 10, Verse 12).

Hence, do not be in a state of agitation if you give someone a pen as a gift and he uses it to satirize you. So be at peace if you are requited with ungratefulness for the good you have done. Rejoice in your knowledge that you will be rewarded from the One Who has unlimited treasures at His disposal.

Grieve not over unworthy things

There is not a single worry or concern whose significance is not diminished when it is compared to the concerns of the Hereafter. What are the worries of this life? They are status, prestige, fame, income, wealth and mansions. They are all nothing when compared to the accountability before Allah.

If you really cannot do something, leave it

I used to give the Friday sermon in the city of Abha. Most of my sermons dealt with different aspects of the Prophet’s (Pbuh) life and this became something of a speciality with me and was something with which I felt comfortable. Somebody had asked me to give a sermon about the increasing tendency of extravagant dowries. I was loath to comply with his request because I felt more comfortable in speaking about the biography of the Prophet. Nevertheless, I gave an impromptu sermon on the requested topic. I quoted verses from the Quran and sayings of the Messenger of Allah. I was covering the topic in a desultory manner, and as I was speaking, I felt the sweat trickle down my forehead. After my sermon was over, I felt that I had done a very poor job in speaking on the subject and so I resolved to stick to what I excelled at.

Everyone of us should work in a field that he is skilled in. The Prophet (Pbuh) said: “ Indeed Allah loves for each of you, when he works at something, to perfect it.”

I have got a brief overview from my geography book. I think it is taking a very uncontrovirsial viewpoint on the subject. I would like to know what others think of this poticular issue and what they think are importand aspects of it. What kind of imprint on the culture, politics, ecconomics, language, etc. has Eropean colinization had on Africa. How did it affect Africa and how has it affected Africa now that it is decolonized by Europe? Do you think that it is stell colonized but not directly from a political statement? Like the continued dependince on the exports of materials. I just feel like the book has left a lot off about the issue.

well, I have been in a complicated situation in my life where until now I cannot understand what has happened ...!! when I fell in love with my gf, I was in a cultic religion that I didn't like , there were a lot of false rules preventing association with my gf who was a very good person ...!!so I got out of it and try to get back to the former religion I was in before joining the cultic one ..but, it was a difficult process, by that time I was feeling lost ...My gf was completing different from me, with a completely different religion which contradicts both of the organization I was part of ..and follow a completely strange and different belief systems ...I loved her a lot , I didn't find it was a reason to leave but I was really feeling uncomfortable in the relationship ..after a while being with her, she tries to push her belief on me ..I tried to understand her and even tried to join her but I couldn't because I was so convinced of my core beliefs ..

We were waiting by the bus stop ,thats where I usually see him and he walked over and stood by me a little and I turned around where i was and then he turned around looked at me, took off his jacket and then I sorta smiled at him. Then he turned back around and then turned around again looking at me and started talking to me.He's like hey remember me from blah blah? and I'm like ummm, no..I don't even know what that is.We were just talking about... video games (?), and then I was talking to him about this thing and he got really close to my face
Then I think he wanted to talk with me privately so he grabbed my hand and we walked away from the bus stop in a little area by some lockers. I felt his hand, even though it was a dream...it felt so real when he grabbed my hands. Then some girls from one of my classes were all of a sudden standing there mouthing the words "what" at me, I just shrugged, then we were going to go into an empty classroom to be alone and i found myself alone waiting
