character means personality , reputation,respect for ones self and others.integrity honesty,to be the person he used to be,perfect original uprightness.to be the best you can be.

What kind of doctor was it??
Character and integrity mean whatever people decide they mean. One can guess that the doctor was telling him/her to be responsible, honest and reliable in his or her actions, but without asking for a specific defintion there's no way to know.
You can look in a dictionary, but the doctor may have had something else in mind.

For some reason his doctor doesn't like him very much. Why? I don't know but if i were your friend i'd find another doctor whose "character and integrity" matched mine.
