Homes prices went up because of lower interest rates, etc. The cost to build one went up because of the huge demand of building homes which inflated the building materials. Insurance then went up because of double/triple values, and natural disasters.

Why the heck is healthcare, as reported on cnn going up so much? What has happened in the past few years to all of a sudden make health insurance, care, etc more then double?

I find that most of the time I am stressed out and anxious about nothing. I find it hard to concentrate on studying. I obsess over stupid things like my weight and the fact that I do not have a boyfriend. There was a time when I thought that having friends would make me happy. Now I have the greatest friends, and I'm still not happy - I want more. Sometimes I feel happy, and then I just become sad again, and anxious. I feel like no matter what I do, if I am skinny and have a boyfriend and all that dumb stuff that probably sounds really stupid - then my life will be good. It scares me, because no matter how hard I try I'm not sure if I can be happy. Is there something wrong with me? Or is it normal?

okay I was high and i was listening to eminem and i swear I heard subliminal messages on the music.clear ones, , at first i thought it was those smoking commercials onthe radio where they have a lady speak in a monotone electric voice but as i listenened more to it , it didn't say don't smoke it said" smoke , smoking is good for you," so thenn i thought it was a joke song but then it turned back and we were just listening to eminem, and everyone else said emnimem had been on the whole time

i like this guy a lot and i constantly daydream about him, but at night, i never had a single dream about him; how can i "move" my thoughts for him from waking time to sleep? everybody can see i'm in love and i can't really pay attention to a lot of things, i can't get him off my mind and it would be so much easier. is there some kind of method? i know it's a silly question.

I've always thought that the person I see in the mirror isn't me. The whole face isn't right. The expressions don't seem right. I don't even like looking in the mirror because I don't FEEL like that is who I am. I'm just wondering if this is normal, or if I'm just a freak.

I'm afraid I'm really going to hurt someone someday. As an example, the other day I went to the doctors office because I've had a cough/cold for a week and when the secretary at the desk said that he couldn't see me because I'm not a patient there I got so mad I ripped her phone off the desk (it was bolted down) and smashed it on the floor. I punched metal door of the elevator on the way down so hard it left a dent. Please help me!

And what do they have against being feminine? Why do they perpetuate the lie that gender is a social construct?

First of all let me say I am a man and I do have feelings, but by watching T.V. you would get the impression that all I do as a man is run around with a gun, fight, and have sex, I don't do any of these things and I know that it makes me no less of a man, actually it makes me more of a man. I also enjoy talking about my feelings and guess what I'm not gay, I'm very straight. I can see nothing wrong with being gay or lesbian though. There is also noting wrong with not being a woman that don't look like a holly wood model, If a man don't get to know you for you then he is shallow anyways. Someday I want to marry a sweet and smart woman who takes care of herself and has an open mind, looks come behind all of these qualities as far as I'm concerned. So after reading this mess of ramblings I just through out at you, do you think that I have feelings, do you think I'm misdirected in any way, and if you were me what would you do? So what do you think of the men don't have feelings myth?

I mean, I've taken Zoloft before, and it never affected my dreams, but ever since I've been taking it for the past couple of months I'm having some off the wall dreams. Usually my dreams are very vivid and realistic with maybe a few things out of the ordinary. Lately, my dreams have been far from reality...I'm just curious.

I am still dreaming about my first love. I loved him when I was 15-18. I am now 22, and haven't seen or spoken with him since I was 18. I don't spend my days pining for him, I never even think about him when I'm awake.

About three nights out of the week, I dream about him. My dreams are crazy, and wild, and fun. But I don't know...it is normal for me to be dreaming about a guy that is no longer in my life - and will never be in my life again? Does anyone else do this?

Does anyone who has no children get pressure about having children from other people? I choose not to have children, I love my friends children very much and like to spoil them when am with them, but everytime am in a social gathering, I get funny looks when I say I don't want kids of my own.. am happy with my life and I think its unfair to be deemed selfish if one does not want to have kids. What do you think?
