I understand what you say.
Me, when I sometimes look in the mirror, feel strange too. I believe I have a certain look but sometimes my mirror shows a woman kind of stranger to me! It is a strange and funny feeling. You see a figure that holds within, you! I definitely do not believe I am a freak for the times these thoughts come in my mind.!!
I have read somewhere -don't remember where-, that this is the babies' first perception of their body. They look at their hands and wonder what these are! So, maybe, this phenomenon , in adults derives its origin from that age. Who knows?

I feel just the same, love! Especially after I'm in a group. If I focus on someone long enough, I start to feel as if I look like them. Its because you are hyper-sensitive to your feelings and image. That's a good thing!
But if you want it to stop, look in mirrors more often. Make faces and strike poses and such, so you can get used to what you look like. Carry a teeny pocket mirror with you, and when you start getting that feeling, excuse yourself and go look in that mirror.
If you don't like what you see, get up earlier and do a special skin routine or something. Put extra time into your appearance.
Maybe you should start a hobby, so you can create a 'you'.

No, I think I know what you mean. In my head, I have one image of me, and then I look in the mirror and it's an entirely different story. Luckily for me, the mirror person is nicer-looking than my own personal vision of me, but yeah, I get caught off-guard by it sometimes. Also, do you ever feel like way younger in your head, and then you catch sight of yourself in the mirror and go, "Oh, jeez, when did I grow up?" I do that a lot as well.

No, you're not a freak. Often times, our PERCEPTION of who we are doesn't really match who we ACTUALLY are. This applies to both personality and physical appearance. It's almost as though the brain is a separate entity that does not always recognize the person we are. Yes, it's a weird feeling, but it's not abnormal. My advice to you is not to obsess about it. Doing so will only serve to make you extremely unhappy. Accept who you are inside and out and maybe just work on enhancing what you've got. You are unique. As I always tell my friends, "Work it, girl"!!

Yes, I see myself as 30 years younger--that is, until I use a public restroom, where the lighting is so much more revealing.
Well, when we hear our voices on recordings, we don't think we sound anything like that in real life.

it happens to me but not to that extent. sometimes i look in the mirror and i realize i'm whiter that i thought i am, only sometimes, sometimes i think i look prettier or less pretty. and i dont think you are a freak, i'm sure this happens to lots of people, probably u need to talk to a professional about your problem.
