Social Science - 17 February 2007

well the dream was long, but this part is stuck in my head...and ive never felt pain after a dream but i felt it after i woke.

ok i went into this room and their was this girl in a glass cage i put some green liquid in it, at first she was gorgeuous then she turned into this beast, and burst outta the cage at me then i suddenly saw myself dressed as a priest and had a cross with a stake on it, and i was stabbing the demon but then i was bleeding and hurting everywhere that i stabbed it, as if i was stabbing myself then it opened a dimension and dragged me into it, i woke up and litrally was in total pain....before u say im terrified of horror films and never watch them...

what on earth did this mean? and why did i feel the pain even when i woke up??

or is this just called life? I came to the realization that I have some deep rooted trust issues with people in general. When someone hurts me, I'm angry but I don't get bitter or plot multiple ways of revenge. Instead I slowly close myself off from the world and shield my heart so that I want feel that pain again.

That being said and maybe I jump to a far ahead of things but what do you do when you have severe financial issues abd health problems but you find out that someone is interested in you? Do you put that aspect of your life on hold until you get yourself "together" or do you continuing with getting to know the person, BTW - Do you really ever truly get yourself together or do you just come to terms with you life and accept the things that you can or can't - is that the definition for getting yourself together -just accepting your life for what it is and not expecting nothing more or nothing less.That being said..should I hold off on dating for awhile or continuing dating?

I've been bullied once in my life but nothing serious just a pety thing really. But i was on a bebo page tonight and saw a page devoted to this boy who was only 14. He was always happy in his pictures and his mates said he was always smiling. The guy hung himself. The reason? Due to someone who was bullying him in school. I mean how can anyone be like this? It must have been bad if he took his own life. I also know people who have been bullied and it can effect people mentally more than physically. I truelly hate the way these people think they can do what the want when they see someone who has a weakness! Whats your view?

When ever a movie or music video comes out it shows strippers,women's breasts, or makes some sexual refrence. Why do people show this? Even kid's movies have some sexual refrences. Why do women allow themselves to be shown in this manner and why do people support this? Why are there so many songs about sex? What is wrong with us today?

last night i had about 4 dreams that I remember. during the the second to last dream in my dream it was night and i was lying in bed. but it was my old bed then i looked over and my neighbor and my friend from school were making out... i then pinched my arm and felt no pain then said i am dreaming after that it was like i was awake. my bed was my normal bed again and i was lying there. i said i am going to get up and right when my feet hit the ground all color and picture left my dream i was alone in the dark but still able to feel concious i was thinking this whole time whats going on. while this is happening I had the sensation i was falling, it felt good.
my questions are what was going on why was it pitch black and dark and why did I feel like I was Falling

This might not be the greatest website or source to ask on but it was fast.

may i add this is not important but I had deja vu during writing this...

For example..if an acquaintance of yours suggested that you act in a way to please them or someone else....Would it prove more logical to decline changing your behavior to please others, or would the power of suggestion prevail and cause you to act differently in order to maintain a relationship? Generally speaking, I am an intellegent student. I do take the courage to raise my hands to volunteer for answering or adding a comment. But in the meantime, if it is a new class, or new audience, my heart starts beating fast, my face blushes, my voice changes and worst of all my hands shaking. Just from observations alone, I would agree (minus most English women of course, with their fake tanning parlour orange glows and the bottled tanning dyes), but why the English. Surely there are less sunnier climes on this earth, yet those people seem to tan well enough with limited exposure to sunlight.

Emminent anthropologists Carleton Coon and William Ripley both found through their seperate research projects that the majority of the English population, that is those individuals in England who can trace their ancestry to the 5th Century Nordic invasions of Angles, Saxons, and Jutes, and not from any later waves of immigration are by far the fairest skinned human beings on the planet.

My question is why? It's cloudier in Russia and Poland, and many of these Slavic peoples are just as blond haired and blue eyed as us English, yet they seem to tan well with increasing exposure to the sun. The same is said of the Germans and the Danes.

I did "meet me" with a 19-year woman off hotornot.com in August '06. (I am a 22 year old man.) I spent total about 5 hours on the phone with her over a two week period. Throughout the 3 conversations we had, I found that she was a super energetic mentally ill, "mentally incapacitated individual" with no chance of earning high school diploma (clinical psychologists said that with her mental illness, it's not possible), no job, her siblings don't like her... and she was getting wildly obsessed with me, like we're lovers. I could not take that AT ALL... so I did a 180 and completely and totally ignored her completely, starting first week of Sept. '06. At this present date in Feb. '07, even 6 months later after I stopped all communication with her, she is STILL sending me text messages. I don't want to talk to her again to tell her to get lost... and I don't have communication with her mother (or legal guardian). Can I block her #? Or do I really need to just call this girl back up?
