last night i had about 4 dreams that I remember. during the the second to last dream in my dream it was night and i was lying in bed. but it was my old bed then i looked over and my neighbor and my friend from school were making out... i then pinched my arm and felt no pain then said i am dreaming after that it was like i was awake. my bed was my normal bed again and i was lying there. i said i am going to get up and right when my feet hit the ground all color and picture left my dream i was alone in the dark but still able to feel concious i was thinking this whole time whats going on. while this is happening I had the sensation i was falling, it felt good.
my questions are what was going on why was it pitch black and dark and why did I feel like I was Falling

This might not be the greatest website or source to ask on but it was fast.

You've had what is called a lucid dream where you realize that you are dreaming and then take control of the dream. Only you didn't take control. That left you with a blank slate (darkness).

You experienced deja vu because you remember a similar event. And falling is generally a sensation attributed to an out of body experience. In falling, you come back to your body.

Learn how to use the lucid dreaming, learn how to take control and you will have lots of fun and rewards.

I help people with their dreams through my website. For more information on lucid dreaming check out wikipedia online.

Well in order to understand dreams, you must understand how we dream. We dream because the brain secretes a chemical called DMT. DMT is one of the most restricted hallucinagens in the US even though it is naturally secreted by the human brain. Here is an awesome link that explains DMT.

Hope that helps.
