I did "meet me" with a 19-year woman off hotornot.com in August '06. (I am a 22 year old man.) I spent total about 5 hours on the phone with her over a two week period. Throughout the 3 conversations we had, I found that she was a super energetic mentally ill, "mentally incapacitated individual" with no chance of earning high school diploma (clinical psychologists said that with her mental illness, it's not possible), no job, her siblings don't like her... and she was getting wildly obsessed with me, like we're lovers. I could not take that AT ALL... so I did a 180 and completely and totally ignored her completely, starting first week of Sept. '06. At this present date in Feb. '07, even 6 months later after I stopped all communication with her, she is STILL sending me text messages. I don't want to talk to her again to tell her to get lost... and I don't have communication with her mother (or legal guardian). Can I block her #? Or do I really need to just call this girl back up?

Be a man and speak up. Tell her you are not interested. Then if she keeps contacting you, change your number. If she gets your new number and starts up again, contact the police and have her charged with harassment/stalking.

Call her up on another phone (not your home phone) and just chat with her. Apologize for ignoring her, say you were busy and stressed and did not feel like talking to anyone. doesn't seem like calling her back would help the situation...i would block her number...but that's me, maybe you could send her one last text message briefly explaining how you feel and why you need to cut off communication...then just let it go..
