Oh really????Perhaps it's the women you're keeping company with, most of the women I know live very dignified lives .

They contribute to their communities in numerous ways, have had satisfying home lives and or careers, are spritual and know that there is something far bigger than themselves out there.

Why would you ask such a thing, you are as dignified as you want to be. If you have a problem with the way that you see yourself then you need to figure out what there is that you are dissatisfied with. A cognitive dissonance is when you see yourself one way but in reality you are not that person. In order to resolve a cognitive dissonance you must become the person that you believe you are. If you want a dignified life then be a dignified person and do not let things that are not a part of that reality affect you emotionally. Einstein said "only the universe and human stupidity is infinite and I am not sure about the latter". I hope this is coherent and easily followed.

It is male chauvinist society and the difference in attitude shown between male and female species ,because of the physiological differences ,is bound to continue as long as human society exists on earth or any other planet.
But ,it is not difficult for a woman of very high calibre to live a dignified life ,so long as she commands respect from others irrespective of the gender, for her own capabilities in the job or profession she pursues.

Most women are dignified. You might have seen a few who are vain and frivolous. Their vanity might have been apparent to you.
For ages they have lived a confined life and hence they have become adept in gauging small nuances. Their sensory antenna is different. They pick at small things which are generally overlooked by men. They are at times more suspicious and this lands them into unnecessary broil, lowering their dignity thereby.
