i like this guy a lot and i constantly daydream about him, but at night, i never had a single dream about him; how can i "move" my thoughts for him from waking time to sleep? everybody can see i'm in love and i can't really pay attention to a lot of things, i can't get him off my mind and it would be so much easier. is there some kind of method? i know it's a silly question.

Yes. There's this thing called lucid dreaming, where you know that you're dreaming. You can train yourself to do it, just check out a website to learn how.

Well, I'm a guy. And I have a girl who I REALLY love. And, yes... she's always on my mind. But it's very rarely that I dream about her. Perhaps... it's easier on our minds to know that we're going to wake up the next day, and see that person that we absolutely love. Our minds can sort of... relax, knowing that they're going to be there the next day.
And as a result, we end up sleeping a lot better - sleeping more relaxed and comforted.
Not dreaming about the love of your life is not a terrible thing. I always tell my Russian Princess that... I'll dream about her, but she knows that I'm just being sweet to her and all that. But when I do actually dream about her, I'll tell her of course.
So again... not dreaming about the love of your life is not a bad thing. It just means that you're soooo happy, and that when you lay your head down to rest at night-- your mind and body totally relaxes, because you're happy.

With all of that said... Um... just hope that he likes you back. You don't want to be obsessed with a man... having dreams about him, and then suddenly, he doesn't like you, and crushes everything. Just uh... you know... take it easy, I guess.

lucid dreaming is a bad idea by the way. I have pretty much nothing but lucid dreams without having trained myself to do it, and it has simply caused insomnia (or maybe insomnia caused it) and when I do get sleep it is not restful because my consciousness doesn't shut down. It's probably better to not dream of this guy and simply ask him out or whatever.

You can't control your dreams, only by obsessing about something so that it infiltrates your every thought. However, chances are you ARE having dreams about him but can't remember them.
Set your alarm about 20-40 minutes early so you wake up during your REM state of rest, where your dreams occur. This gives you a greater chance of remembering what you were just dreaming about.

It's possible that you're dreaming at night, but you just don't remember doing so. I don't know how old you are, but you sound school-aged. So, my advice to you is to focus more on your studies, and a little less on this young man.

i dont think it's a silly question. i think u dont dream of him at night because he is not really deep inside you yet. but u daydream about him because you want him to be a part of you.
